So much to share… and giveaway!

Can you believe Christmas is only 10 days away?  Eek.  I fell like we got shortchanged only have 3 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🙂

But, I have lots to share.  And as a reward for listening, I have a giveaway.

First, many of Hero Arts stamps are now available in stores!  Woohoo!  Here are two online stores I know that have tons of it: 2Peas and StampinTreasures.  You can buy the whole catalog there, too.  The stamps available now are only the ones that were part of the Catalog Debut. There will be more new ones coming out at the beginning of January!

And since Hero stamps are made in the USA, we know they will be available on time and rarely on backorder. :)

Wanna see my faves?

Come on… aren't they too cute??

Great stuff, huh?  Watch those wallets. 🙂

Also!  I am the blogger this week on Hero's blog HERE.  Please come say hi and tell Kelly Goree how much we love having her on our blog.  She is a gem.  A true sweetie. We are doing some fun things with sketches… with lots of prizes for this week's challenge.  Today we used new hero stamps and BG papers.  Here is another card I did with my scraps/reject pieces…

Hearts
Supplies:
Hero Arts Pattern Hearts and Thank You
Basic Grey Bittersweet papers and buttons
White embossing powder
Versamark
Black Memories Ink
Hero Arts Pearls
Fiskars border punch

OK… giveaway talk.  I have a bunch of things to pass along.  And thanks to a donation to help with shipping, I will be giving a lot away between now and Christmas.  I would say that there will be a giveaway every single day, but I fear I may miss a day.  :)  So lets just say there will be many – so keep coming back.  Today's is a small one but a good one.  Just leave a comment on this post by Thursday at 11:59pmEDT telling me if you have sent your holiday cards yet (if you are sending them) and I will pick a random winner of these two BasicGrey rub-ons.  (I love them!)

Give

And… no… I haven't even recieved my card order.  And I have to add to them.  And address them.  And mail them.  And finish my sister-in-laws cards.  And address them.  And mail them.  Eek. 🙂

Off to work!  Night. 🙂

    Hey Jennifer,

I did finally mail my cards on Saturday, 83 of them! We are stationed overseas right now so I am sure that our friends and family won’t get them until early 2009 but at least they will get them. My husband joked that they went “owl post” because I stamped the front of each envelope with the Hero Arts santa owl! OMG, he’s the cutest! Happy holidays! Thanks for the daily inspiration!

  2. Cheri Howard says:

No, I haven’t sent mine, either. I do have a few made, but school has been crazy busy (middle school kids get a little wack-o this time of year – LOL)! I plan to do a whole bunch Friday evening & Saturday morning – and send the first batch in Saturday’s mail.

Yeah, eek sounds about right. =D

  3. Char- D says:

My cards are all mailed out. I think the last ones went out on the 1st. Now it is time to start on Valentine Day cards. lol

  4. Christina says:

My gosh! Only 10 days left till Christmas! Can’t believe it. I didn’t make make cards this year but bought some that are ready to be sent. Need to do that in the next couple of days.

  5. Sharon says:

I just put my card in the mail today!

  6. Roberta says:

My cards are all addressed and ready to go- just need to get around to stamping them and they’ll be on their way. I love the card. I’m a scrapper not a card maker and I think that would make a gorgeous border on a layout. So pretty!

  7. Angela M says:

They were done before Thanksgiving, however I just mailed them today. Couldn’t decide on a newsletter format and ended up using a crossword puzzle. They turned out fun and different from the usual!

  8. Tammy says:

I was only able to make half the Christmas cards that I wanted but I got the ones I did finish making out last Friday. Whew! Christmas is coming WAY too soon this year!

  9. Gracie says:

I was able to send out some cards already. I’m hoping the recipients get them before Christmas though coz mail from our country may take quite a while to reach their destination.

  10. JanScholl says:

Due to hub’s untimely retirement and the bank losing his pension check, I didn’t even make fall/halloween cards. All the stuff is still on my kitchen table as I slog thru the shock. At least I am ready for next year!

  11. Justlulu says:

Totally cute Rub-ons! No.. no cards yet! But we usually by a goat for a 3rd world family in our family’s name instead of sending cards to people we see anyways 🙂

  12. I don’t send holiday cards. I don’t celebrate Christmas so no pressure! But I’d still love to enter to win candy! Thanks I totally love the card; I have to make one like it.

  13. Jennifer says:

Cool candy! Thanks Jennifer. Your blog is so much fun! I have sent 3 cards so far. Only about 60 to go!

    Jennifer L.

  14. jen says:

My cards went out on Sunday! 🙂

  15. Linda K. says:

I really wanted to make cards this year. I started to late and became overwhelmed. Decided that I should buy my Christmas cards this year. They were mailed out last week. Next year I will start making cards earlier in the year, like in July.

  16. Lynn R says:

I have not sent mine yet…Penney’s screwed up my pictures (literally cut off my daughter’s head!) so I just got them back (a new order with head intact! LOL!) today and hopefully will have it ready to go tomorrow!

  17. Time has seemed to fly by too fast and I don’t have my cards even made yet! I bought a bunch just in case I don’t get them all done in time…I cannot tell you how good it feels to see that I am not the only one, so bless your heart for this post!

Good luck with getting yours finished and mailed!

    Merry Christmas!
    Teresa

  18. Val S says:

I finally got mine all mailed and sent off today. They won’t get there before Christmmas, but hopefully, the recipients will enjoy them after Christmas too!

  19. Jessica says:

    Those Japanese dolls are adorable!

I have sent the majority of my cards. I have one more to make, and two more to mail. So I’m almost done!

  20. Helen says:

Yes, I’ve posted mine. Must be the earliest I’ve ever got them away. I cheated this year and used shop bought cards, but spent my time scrapbooking a mini-book as our Christmas letter which I’ve scanned and printed for everyone.

  21. Harriet Skelly says:

Yes I mailed all my cards out last week. Those were Christmas cards. Now I have to work on Chanukah ones.

  22. Sue says:

I’m still in the process of making my cards. I don’t get very much time to myself since DH is away and we’ve got two small children so I’ve resigned to the fact that no one will be getting their cards by Christmas. Oh well, it’s the thought that counts!

  23. Novalen says:

I don’t send christmas cards, but cards for the new year. I usually do that between christmas and january the 1st!

  24. Elizabeth says:

Yes, I sent them the first week of December in fear that my relatives, in Toronto (we’re from Vancouver, BC) would not get them due to a Postal strike…nice timing eh?…but it did get me on the “ball” to get them done! Now I just have to finish up all the gifts that I’m making..LOL. BTW…love the “Japanese Dolls” stamp set.

  25. Suzanne says:

I wish I could say my cards are in the mail, but they’re not. I still need to take a Christmas photo of my daughters. Unfortunately the weather has been ugly and one of them is sick. My goal is to have them mailed by Saturday.

  26. Marilyn says:

Wow, I am excited about this HA/BG week, I have to tell ya! I got my Christmas cards mailed out last Thursday, all 60 of them, handmade! I love Christmas time!!! Even though this year we have to get a food box for Christmas and there will be no presents, I think it will be a good day!

  27. Rachel Loesch says:

I just got my cards off in the mail today (after I stayed up until 2am this morning finishing them)! YAY!
I only sent out 14, but they’re all handmade and unique (I’d get too bored making the same card over and over).
I LOVE anything BasicGrey, so I hope I win!
    Happy Holidays to All!!

  28. Amber says:

Finished my cards Sunday and they are long gone and on their way to new homes, yippee!

  29. K@ren says:

We haven’t sent cards yet! Eeek…10 days left to snap a photo of a 16, 10 and almost 1 year old and send it out! I guarentee the rub ons will only slow down the process:)

  30. Szilvi says:

Not only I haven’t sent them but I haven’t created them either. I’ll have to find some time this week to finish up my card projects.
    🙂

  31. Pat Woodruff says:

I ususlly try and get them mailed on Dec 1st but this year it was Dec 10th – so not too bad!!

  32. Jenink says:

Yes, thank goodness- all signed, sealed and (well, I HOPE so!) delivered. Basic Grey make gorgeous rub ons, so yum! Good luck with those cards

  33. Anthonette says:

My Christmas cards are always photo cards. I have all the supplies and I sort of know my design, but it’s not set in stone. Tonight I’m barely creating a tiny photo collage to place on each card. I need to make at least 70 cards. I’m mega behind this year. I’m not having fun.

  34. Welsh Kiwi says:

Mmm yes I actually sent my last few today. I have to post my overseas ones early so they went at the beginning of Dec. My hand delivered ones will get delivered this coming weekend with wrapped boxes of biscuits! Basic Grey is my favourite!

  35. Junglewife says:

They’re all addressed in the envelopes, just not mailed yet. 🙂

  36. Patty W says:

Eeeek! I am still trying to make them…and some have to go overseas!!! Oh well – I figure they can be Happy New Year cards instead!

  37. Kathy says:

Is it December already??? I actually have all my cards made, just not mailed. Maybe today….

  38. Julia says:

My cards will be sent out this week, but I still have some to finish. Hope to get it done by tomorrow 🙂

  39. Kylie says:

I sent mine away this afternoon 🙂 Finally! hehe. I was starting to stress about them, I wouldn’t stress so much, but my Dad lives overseas, so I have my fingers crossed that he will recieve it in time! Kylie

  40. HopeTN says:

Yes, all cards sent. I don’t send that many so it’s easy for me to get done.

  41. Erika says:

First week of December … Christmas cards in the mail … and then I tackle the rest of my Christmas to-do list! But I do cheat and print address labels – saves me a lot of time 🙂
    Have a good week!

  42. elizabeth says:

no, i haven’t sent my cards yet – i’m waiting on the photos – should be here any day.

  43. Karen Foster says:

Yes I have sent my cards. Photo cards that I printed at Walmart. I love checking the mailbox everyday to see if I have received any myself.
As a Postmaster in the USPS I can tell you that lots of people are still sending cards and that is a great thing for those receiving them and the job security of thousands of postal workers. Merry Christmas!!!

  44. Melissa says:

    Sent about a week ago!!

  45. julie says:

Love your card and the new stamps too. As for my xmas cards they are made and I am surposed to be writting in them now.
