Let’s celebrate…

Hi, everyone!

Ivotedsticker

Let's celebrate election day!  I am so glad it is finally here.  I have another giveaway to celebrate!  And for you non-US people, you can play, too, of course. 🙂

But I do have to say, I hate the day after the election.  Even if I am happy with who won, I still feel SO bad for the person who didn't win.  Imagine how sad they are after putting so much into it?  I feel the same way when someone gets booted off Dancing With the Stars.  Ha. 🙂

How about a couple quick shares.  This is from an old Autumn Leaves project, but I wanted to share anyway.  The challenge was to use all my current favorite products on one project.  Turns out not much has changed – still buttons, gems, sewing, stamping, flowers, enlarged photos, mini photos and computer journalling.  (The only thing I would add now is AC's Thickers. 🙂

Week9.Process.Jennifer.Remember

And this is from Hero Arts.  I just stumbled upon it today and thought I would share it here.  Isn't Erin Cobb's daughter gorgeous?  I would love for Erin to take pictures of my family someday, along with Lisa Russo.  My dreams. 🙂

And I have a winner of the Jamie Scraps kit from Sunday's post is Carol B!  I will email you.

You still can enter yesterday's drawing for the fabulous Studio Calico kit if you post HERE by tonight.

And… finally… today's giveaway!  Just leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEDT on Wednesday night and I will pick a random winner of this great 6×6 BasicGrey Offbeat paper pack.  (It is perfect for cardmaking. I just ordered one from 2peas for myself and decided to order an extra to give away here.)  And, can you help me out?  In your comment, please give me some ideas of questions I could ask you all for my giveaway comments.  Anything you want to learn about your fellow stampers?  I loved asking about your recipe ideas.  I am collecting some from you all and will share soon.  Thank you!  Oh, and here is the BG paper pack you could win…

Thanks for stopping by and being my happy place every night.  Take care! 🙂

Let me think of some questions…whose blogs to you regularly go to? If you had to pick one manufacturer for the rest of your life to get card-making/scrapbooking supplies from, who would it be? What are your kids’ names? (i’m a name buff!) What is your style? What is the last thing you ate? If you could only pick one snack food to eat from now on, what would it be? Other than groceries, what is the last thing you bought for yourself that is not scrabook/card related?
Those are just a few–love your videos!!

  2. Brianna says:

  3. Jennifer says:

Favorite time of the day and why? Favorite adhesive? Favorite time to scrap?

    Hi Jennifer,
blog questions….I”m always in need of organizing ideas, but don’t have a lot of $$$ to spend. So how about some super cheap or out of the box ideas on how to organize.
    Thanks

    As for questions:

What colors do you use the most?
What do you take the most pictures of? Kids? Landscapes? etc.

  13. pcm says:

I don’t know how you keep up with reading so many comments each day…. How about asking about creative reasons for sending a card?

  14. What cute layouts… as for the question to ask about stamping:

What is your favorite technique and show us a card/layout/project using it.

😉 I would love to learn more!

Just lovin’ Basic Greys new lines. Some questions might be: What are you most thankful for? Whats your favorite holiday tradition? How do you cook your turkey (i.e. bake, deep fry, purchase it, etc)?

  16. Jan says:

Love the Basic Grey papers. Questions: Which blogs do you visit? Who or what inspires you? Who or what is your favorite thing to scrap? Who is your favorite person to make a card for?

  17. Amber D says:

You could ask what new products people are most looking forward to using or trying? Or products people can and can’t live without?

What photos are on your scrapbook table right now waiting to be scrapped?
What is the craziest photo you’ve ever taken?
If you only had one embellishment you could add per page, what would it be?
Hope these are helpful…I love your blog and check it daily!

    Hmm, what questions to ask…

Tell me one weird thing about you.
    Tell something unique about you.
Have you seen a good movie lately?

Have you ever seen a celebrity?

    Or whatever. 😀

    Please keep the ideas coming!

  33. Jennifer K says:

Hi, Jennifer. Can you answer a question for me? You often use scalloped circles on your cards and projects. What do you use to cut those? A giga punch? Your Cuttlebug w/ nestabilities? Something else? A Cuttlebug is on my Christmas list so wondering if that is also the way to go with circles – plain or scalloped. Thanks much!

  46. Michelle W. says:

Thanks for another great give away chance. I’m probably being too serious, but I would love to hear about other places that card makers could give besides Cards For heroes. I Love making cards and would love some more ideas for places to donate to! Also more ideas to encourage companies to be more “green” in their product manufacturing, and packaging.(recycled papers, embellishments, etc.) Also places to donate left over supplies, used stamps, etc. I just know you are the right person, (with the right blog), to help me out!

  47. Priya Venkat says:

I’d like to know about other scrapbookers goof-ups. Mistakes that were not corrected on layouts or cards. I’ll start with mine. I made a card once only to find that it opens from the left instead of the usual right. I had glued everything to the back of the card. I sent it anyway coz it was for a cousin and I knew she’d think it was a good joke.
And YES! I voted too. Three weeks ago. Dropped off my absentee ballot at the US Embassy here. Thanks for opening up the giveaway to your international fans.

  48. Virginia says:

Wow! So many great questions from all the stampers out there…mine will be:
–What’s the WOW factor to make your card stand out?
–Got any great tip(s) to maximize the use of just one stamp?
–Who do you make cards for the most and why?

    Thanks for the givaway!

  49. Sandy F. says:

Jennifer – love your blog!! I’d like to know creative ways that folks use flowers. I love how they look, but always seem to come up with the same type of layout. Thanks for a chance to win.

  50. Angela M. says:

What about asking where you get your inspiration from (book, blog, website, etc.)?
How do you organize your photos/scrapbooks?
What is your favorite thing to scrapbook?

Just a few ideas! Love your blog!
