Let’s celebrate…

Hi, everyone!

Ivotedsticker

Let's celebrate election day!  I am so glad it is finally here.  I have another giveaway to celebrate!  And for you non-US people, you can play, too, of course. ๐Ÿ™‚

But I do have to say, I hate the day after the election.  Even if I am happy with who won, I still feel SO bad for the person who didn't win.  Imagine how sad they are after putting so much into it?  I feel the same way when someone gets booted off Dancing With the Stars.  Ha. ๐Ÿ™‚

How about a couple quick shares.  This is from an old Autumn Leaves project, but I wanted to share anyway.  The challenge was to use all my current favorite products on one project.  Turns out not much has changed – still buttons, gems, sewing, stamping, flowers, enlarged photos, mini photos and computer journalling.  (The only thing I would add now is AC's Thickers. ๐Ÿ™‚

Week9.Process.Jennifer.Remember

And this is from Hero Arts.  I just stumbled upon it today and thought I would share it here.  Isn't Erin Cobb's daughter gorgeous?  I would love for Erin to take pictures of my family someday, along with Lisa Russo.  My dreams. ๐Ÿ™‚

And I have a winner of the Jamie Scraps kit from Sunday's post is Carol B!  I will email you.

You still can enter yesterday's drawing for the fabulous Studio Calico kit if you post HERE by tonight.

And… finally… today's giveaway!  Just leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEDT on Wednesday night and I will pick a random winner of this great 6×6 BasicGrey Offbeat paper pack.  (It is perfect for cardmaking. I just ordered one from 2peas for myself and decided to order an extra to give away here.)  And, can you help me out?  In your comment, please give me some ideas of questions I could ask you all for my giveaway comments.  Anything you want to learn about your fellow stampers?  I loved asking about your recipe ideas.  I am collecting some from you all and will share soon.  Thank you!  Oh, and here is the BG paper pack you could win…

Thanks for stopping by and being my happy place every night.  Take care! ๐Ÿ™‚

That large picture of Colin at the window is sooo precious Jennifer…the look of wonder on his face is priceless. Re the questions for other stampers I would love to know how much blog surfing people do each day/week – how many hours?…also I would love to know how much time they spend crafting each week…that would be fun. You are a sweety giving away these gorgeous goodies. Cheers!

I think the question I would like to ask my fellow stampers is something about the creative process. What inspires you and how do you translate that to the page or card project?

  23. Gracie says:

I just finished watching Obama’s speech. Felt goosebumps all over & I was teary eyed like Oprah. LOL. I no longer live in the U.S. but thank God for cable TV I was able to witness another historical event.

  30. Char- D says:

Are there any trends in scrapbooking right now that you just can’t stand or would never use?
Is there anything still being done in the scrapbook world that you are tired of seeing (getting old)?
How would you complete this sentence: In the real world scrapbookers like to scrap (how

  35. Linda aka Oz says:

  40. JeanD says:

Hey Jennifer, I absolutely love your blog and all the wonderful things you make. Colin is just so cute too.
My question would be what ideas people have for making intersting cards for teenage boys, particularly those not into sport. I’m a stamper and there’s definately a market for stamps allied to some of their computer games, Warhammer and the like.

  41. jeanie says:

you can ask people to share a fact a peculiar trait or characteristic or they could share their favorite childhood toy or their favorite city. or if they could be any of the crayola colors, what would they be. ๐Ÿ™‚

  42. Diana says:

Yummy Basic Grey papers, great for cardmaking. I would like to know how everyone organize their clear stamps. Thanks for all the giveaways.

  43. Avital says:

—do not pick me. I LOVE Basic Grey – but don’t—

It’s funny what you’ve said about the day after the election day.

Back when I was a lawyer, I would always feel seriously bad for the other party or their lawyer when I’d won. It was one of the strongest catalysts that I have to change my career (no matter how successful was I, or even because I was successful ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

    Isn’t it funny???

  44. Dixie Lee says:

I would like to know what everyone’s tried and true technique or tool is…the one thing that repeatedly shows up in your scrapping.

  45. Monika says:

    Hi,
thank you for chance to win!!! Iยดm excited so much!!!
    And some idea of questions?
What about – how big mess you have on the table when you do scrapbooking? or how often do you clean your scraproom, scraptable (because I love the “creative mess” on my table) :-)))

  46. Beverley says:

Love stopping by your blog, found it through HA and the work you do with them and you have introduced me to so much more I never knew about! From techniques to other inspirational blogs and different ways to use things I have. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ I think you should ask people what their favorite stamp or crafting item is.

  47. katharina says:

I also hope that Obama can fulfill the hopes we have in him – even here in Europe!
