  1. Love all your beautiful inspiration with this new stitching die. Just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your creativity and time.

  2. Great cards, ca you help me. I just purchased the color chart bundle. But how do i receive it. How do i download it.

  3. These are beautiful, the thinking of you card is by far my favorite. I have not tried sticking on cards, but after seeing these cards I may have to give it a try. I will not look at a dress the same way again, it is all about color.

  4. I would never have thought to cut the stitching dies and use part of it. I am awe inspired. Such a creative mind. Your recommendation of Neenah cardstock was a game changer too. Thank you.

  5. I would never have thought to cut the stitching dies and use part of it. I am awe inspired. Such a creative mind. Your recommendation of Neenah cardstock was a game changer too. Thank you.

  6. I don’t see a picture for ordering that gate dies that you put a stitched flower in the arch. The monthly dies membership shows only stitched flowers and I want the gate!

  7. I love stitching on cards and these Spellbinders dies are wonderful. Wish you could get them without going into a subscription (fixed income). Thanks for all the tips on color matching. Great video.

  8. There is also a free app called COLOR GRAB that allows one to scan a color, file it in a library and match it with 14 different sryles, (analogous, triad, complementary ect) it has several differnt editing featues like tonal changes and white light.
Great for those sluggish imagination moments when wanting to purge something from the aging stash!

  9. Thank you for showing how to adjust the dies to make different looking cards. The sources for color combos was extremely helpful.

  10. Love the bright color combinations! I ALWAYS struggle with choosing the right colors since color theory is not my thing, so this was VERY helpful.

  11. Your cards as always are amazing and inspirational. I would like to know how you got the dark navy blue background on the “you’re amazing’ card. The colors are perfect for a bridal shower card that I am working on for my niece. Thank you for sharing, I always look forward to new videos from you?

  12. I love your cards. I learn so much more from your videos because you streamline your content and don’t wander off into personal stories.

Some days you bring out a die or stamp and I think, I would never pick that. When you’re done, I’ve gotta have it.!

I’m interested in The. Color Catalog but didn’t see a companion for DMC. Did you just match the DMC to The Color Catalog yourself?

  13. Amazing cards and great tips, dear Jennifer. Thank you for sharing. Most of my color inspiration comes from nature and gardens, everyday objects can be a source as well. When I make cards for someone specific I like to work with their favorite colors that way I often work with colors that I would not have chosen otherwise — after all there is so much green in nature and I can’t make only green cards. Oh and I should not forget — I personally love bright colors combined together bright yellow, pink, orange, red, purple, chartreuse green, throw in some gold accents and I’m in color heaven. Not necessarily all at once, but at times all at once. This love stems from a fascination with Indian saris. You can google saris and you will see how vibrant and alive the colors are. It translates very well to art and cards. I would love to see you try that as well.
Thanks again and my very best to you,
    Caroline

  14. Vera Bradley products also provide great color combos. I appreciate all your sources and have purchased The Color Book.

  15. Great video and gorgeous cards as ever Jennifer.
The colour combo I use on a card depens on the mood I’m in, which person I make the card for. The inspiration for those combo’s are from things I see like a tv commercial with duvet covers, sheets or curtains. Or advertising brochures and yes also sometimes from sombody that walks by and has a great colour combo in his/her clothes.
And off course the people I follow like you!
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.

  16. I use designer printed scrapbook paper from my days (years) of scrapbooking. The colors are always perfect together and I just purchased and downloaded The Color Catalog along with the Companion to “swatch” both my threads and Copics.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

  17. Amazing cards Jennifer!!!! Can you tell me what the purple paper is you used for the card base and the flowers? I have been searching for a color like this forever!!!

  18. Jennifer, thanks for the link to the Color Catalog. I hopped over and purchased one. I am forever searching for easy color combinations and my old ragged Stampin’ Up! color wheel just doesn’t cut it! LOL! Your projects are all so beautiful.

  19. I highly recommend walking through a fabric store. You will be overwhelmed by the myriad color combinations.
Another fun way to experiment with color combinations is to mix up your collection of card stock scrap strips. It is amazing how many unusual color combinations you can create.

  20. I like to use my Stampin’ Up catalog for color combinations… and I keep the old ones for that reason, too!!

  21. I heard a good color combination search tip from Daniel West when he was creating a card for Hero Arts. He suggested using the Coolors website (yes coolors, not colors). There are trending colors combos which also have Copic marker numbers if you want to get a close or close enough match. It’s helped me step outside the box a bit and create different color combinations.
