Die Cut Gatefold Cards + GIVEAWAY
Hello again! Today I am sharing a couple fun ways to create die cut gatefold cards.
[All supplies are linked in the text below and in the thumbnails at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.]
My first examples features the new Simon Says Stamp Folk Dance Die. (SWOON!) I die cut two of these panels, folded them in half, and wrapped them around a light purple notecard.
To the left flap, I adhered a layered Simon Says Stamp Big Happy die cut and a Simon Says Stamp Simple Sentiments heat embossed sentiment strip. When you open the gatefold, there is a card inside.
My second card shares a die cut and vellum gatefold option. I added a piece of Stick It Adhesive Sheets to the back of mint cardstock and die cut it with the new-and-lovely Simon Says Stamp Leafy Frame Die. I cut the die cut in half and adhered it to the edge of a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ vellum piece. I folded the vellum in half and wrapped it around the edge of a notecard. I repeated this on the other side, creating a gatefold opening.
I adhered a heart die cut to the left panel and added a Simon Says Stamp Really Big Thanks sentiment. The little flowers are from the Simon Says Stamp Blooming Circle Die.
When you open the card, you see the card inside…
And there is a spot to write a personal message.
