  1. I use embossing folders but after seeing this I want to try using stencils. Thank you for opening up my world.

  2. I use stencils more often than embossing folders, but have both and I enjoy the look of each one. Thanks for sharing so much with us!!

  3. Yes! I use both! I really like how both stencils and embossing folders add so much to cards! there are so many neat new stencils out there!

  4. Yes I’ve used both in my cards however I still haven’t tried embossing with my dies and I’m definitely going to soon!

  5. I have a few embossing folders and stencils but have rarely used them. I really liked these and your videos have inspired me to use them more. Thank you.

  6. Thanks for showing us all these awesome products. I enjoy using stencils with embossing paste. Most of my Christmas cards this year were made using embossing folders after I found a great set with 4 embossing folders that used local (i.e. NZ) themed Christmas imagery. Over the weekend I tried using an embossing folder on Silver Foil card-stock & the result was so gorgeous!

  7. I have never used a stencil in my card making but have used them on the walls in my home. they have always come out beautifully. Have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed new year!!

  8. I have used stencils and embossing folders on my cards.
.Absolutely love the look of both . Thanks for sharing…

  9. I love using embossing folders. I have stencils but have only used them a couple of times. I love the videos that you do using stencils.

  10. I use both the stencils and folders as they are so versatile! Thank you for your video as I always learn something new from you!!!

  11. I haven´t used to many stencils or embossing folders but I will try them in the future, this video is so helpful. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks!

  12. I actually used stencils for the first time this year after watching one of your videos and I got my mom to try it with me ~ we both fell in love with the way you can blend colors and create such amazing backgrounds with just a stencil and some ink – so much fun – and I have always loved the embossed look and it’s the original reason I got a cuttlebug – then, I found out about dies and my world hasn’t been the same since (neither has my wallet, lol)

  13. I use Embossing folders a bit. (My eldest daughter loves just running random bits of paper through the small embossing machine we have…). I just don’t use them as often these days. As for stencils, I have a bit of issues with them sliding and just not getting enough color through some….

  14. I have a few embossing folders and should use them more. I use stencils often, ezprecially the MFT cloud and drifts & hills stencils.

  15. I love using embossing folders and the many effects you can get. I use stencils also – most are so versatile and love to create backgrounds with them !

  16. I absolutely love embossing folders and hardly make a card without embossing. I have a few stencils which I have yet to try, but I am sure I will love it once I do. I tend to stick with what I know (like embossing), so I will need to get out of my comfort zone. LOL

  17. I have a Big Shot that I use for die cutting … my experiences with the couple of embossing folders I have were not very successful. Thank You for reminding me to give it another go. … I confess, I have a couple of neglected stencils too, another technique I need to start working on 🙂

  18. I don’t have much experience with stencils but love using embossing folders to add texture backgrounds to my cards.

  19. I have used stencils before by using versamark clear ink and then embossing. I like how finished it makes the background of a card. Again I’ve been watching your videos and I wanna try using them with the distressed ink and the sponges.

  20. I own both but way more embossing folders than stencils. I use them more than stencils too.

Thanks for the series and giveaways!

  21. awesome video…I love inking EB folders and use that technique all the time. I also always use my stencils to create a Monoprint by inking the back, spray with water and press onto the paper.
thanks for the chance to win and Happy New Year!
