    I have been using both stencils and embossing folders. I am a new card maker. I really enjoyed this video as this concept of entirely embossing the whole card face was new to me. It is simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

    I love the results from embossing folders, but sometimes struggle with getting the right combination of paper and amount of pressure – I have a pile of confetti produced by variations of the WRONG combinations! Stencils, on the other hand, produce good results fairly easily. I use them more than embossing folders, and sometimes make my own, using stencil plastic sheets found in the quilting section of chain craft stores.

    I used to use embossing folders a lot but not so much now. I need to start again because I have a ton!! I love stencils!! They don’t take up a lot of space and they can be used for sooooo many techniques!! Thanks Jennifer

    i use my stencil more than my embossing folders. usually with distress inks but recently been using it with texture paste

    I use to use embossing folders quite a bit but have moved away from them. I am fairly new to the stencils and like to use them with pastes to create pattern and texture.

    Loved the folders and stencils you have shown. Yes I use stencils a lot mostly for backgrounds or as a focal point. The embossing folders are mostly used for backgrounds.

    I have used embossing folders a lot more than stencils but I really like what the industry is doing with the stencils now so that may have to change.

    I use embossing folders all the time. I have several stencils but have never been overly inspired. I have inks, paints, pastes, and pan pastels, but can never make them look as beautiful as yours!

    I do use stencils and embossing folders, but probably not as much as I should. It’s fun to see the various techniques that you’ve shared especially for the stencils. I don’t know why but using them is usually not my first “go to” for most projects when I’m starting a card. I need to pull them out and have them ready to use more.

    Some awesome stencils and embossing folders on your favourites list Jennifer. I’m a HUGE fan of embossing folders and us we them often. Stencils , I’m just starting to get into. I’ve been trying some different techniques with them and have a few new ones I just bought that are waiting to be used!

    I don’t have a manual embossing machine so I don’t use the embossing folders. I do use stencils but not as much as I would like.

    I am really enjoying these videos. There are so many great products to choose from, it must be hard to decide which ones make the cut. I have used both stencils and embossing folders in the past on occasion to create backgrounds for cards.

    Mainly have used Stencil for clouds. But recently have purchased a few different types. As for embossing folders I love them and use them fairly frequently. Thank You for a great video.

    I absolutely use stencils! I love them, they are my favourite toy to play with when I make backgrounds for ATCs and in my mixed media playbook. I have embossing folders but really do not use them enough. I think 2018 should be my year of embracing the embossing folder 🙂

    Thanks for showing such a great collection of stencils and embossing folders. I used to use embossing folders much more often – something I need to go back to for sure. I have a bunch of stencils but don’t tend to use them very often. Something I would also like to change 🙂

    I recently used a stencil to frost a cake…and it made me think that I’d love to try texture paste in my crafting. I’ve never done that before, though I did have some stencils from a kit long ago that I used to mask off some misting…

    I have used embossing folders before back when they first started getting popular but there wasn’t anything like those beauties you showed in your video!!! I’m always amazed by the awesome look that stencils give and I’d love to start building a nice collection of versatile ones that could be used in scrapbooking as well!!!
