I haven’t done a Product Release Close-Up for several weeks, so I was excited to have one for you today. These products are new from Simon Says Stamp and are all fun… so I know it may be overwhelming. I am hoping this video helps you get a better look at the products and how they might be used. You can find all the products HERE.

Here are the quick and simple projects I shared in the video…

I had such fun making these simple bookmarks with Lila. Lila stamped her fingerprint in several colors of pigment ink… and I stamped the new Simon Says Stamps Fingerprint Doodles images on top. Cute, huh?

These simple bookmarks actually slide over the corner of a page in a book. They are so easy to make – I just cut the corners off a sealed envelope. Easy!

We will be giving these to friends and family after Lila signs her name on the back.

I also created a couple simple cards using the new Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Fox and Bear Dies. I simply cut them from white cardstock, colored them with Copic Markers, and pieced them together on my card. The white pieces were created with the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangle Die and the sentiment is from the Simon Say Stamp Wild Cuddly Critters Stamp Set.

For the look of texture on the bear, I dabbed with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol.

In the video I also show a look at the new Copic Marker Sketch Fine Nib. These are FABULOUS. I simply remove the rarely-used broad tip and replace with this one. Now my markers have a brush tip and a fine/bullet/firm tip! YAY! There are three in a pack.

  24. I really like the bouquet and all the gorgeous wreaths but my our favorite is the finger print doodles! I can’t wait to make these with my class of children during art once school starts back. Where do I get the envelopes you used? All my envelopes have either a short straight flap or s triangular flap–none that extend 2 1/2″ down the back of the envelope. I would probably get ask white, cut colored card stock for a layer and then do the finger prints on yet another layer in white. It would be easier on the budget to have to buy only one color envelope and I have TONS of colored cardstock! TFS. I just watched the video highlighting your card creations and can’t wait to shop! 🙂

  25. I love both of the Wonky Rectangle die and the Floral Burst Collage die. The fingerprint set is so cute, too. So hard to pick just one?

  26. What a tough time trying to pick a favorite from this release! I love the Bouquet of Stamps, the Floral Burst Collage, the Thanks Script, and the Fingerprint Doodles. Can I have four favorites? LOL!! Another great video showcasing these new products!
