Thanks for another great survey! Two tools that changed my life this year are the MISTI and the T Ruler – got both after seeing your videos 🙂 considering how much they both effected my crafting it’s kinda funny how they’re opposites price-wise haha

    Hi Jennifer!
Thanks to you I have been getting many of your recommendations, still I’m holding up on the most expensive ones, like the heat gun or those great Clarity brushes,or the bone folder, they are on my list but they will have to wait a little yet. Thanks for your reviews, they help us not to spend on thing that won’t work. Thanks also for the chance to win. Happy Thanksgiving !!!

  8. Susan Mezias says:

I’m loving this favorite video’s! I think I’ll be having some new favorite items. I’m putting several of these on my Christmas list cause my family always complains they don’t know what I want! My Misti is my favorite right now along with grid paper. Thanks so much!

Thank you Jennifer for creating all these wonderful videos on your ‘My Favorite Crafty Things’! I actually value your opinion…and so I’ve bookmarked so many of these videos for future reference. I also ended up spending some money on SSS last night because of your ‘crafting tools’ video! lol 🙂 I want to purchase one of those salt keepers for my new shammy I ordered…and so out of curiosity….I also checked the price of the Clarity brushes on the Amazon website. I’m hoping I was looking at the price tag wrong…but if not…they were $72!! For the same thing that SSS is selling for $28.99!! It pays to price-check! Thanks again for your creative genius and your amazing videos!!

  12. Sylvia R. says:

Jennifer, thanks for putting together these videos, I pick up some neat ideas from them. From the list you provide, I’d say that my favorite crafting tool is the Fiskars Trimmer with Wire guard. I have the large one and the small one, I used them both everyday.
QUESTION: I recently bought the titanium blades for the trimmer but I found that they wear out pretty much the same as the non titanium blades. Can these blades be sharpened? If so, how?

  13. SharonNez says:

I forgot to mention what my favorite tool was from the ones you spoke of in your video! 🙂 I have the TH Guillotine….and I love it. I find myself reaching for it often…in order to do precision trimming on my card projects. I also love my Inkadinkadoo Masking Paper. There are many more faves…but I’ll leave it there… 🙂 Thank you, Jennifer, for this offer to win something! And Happy Thanksgiving!! 🙂

  14. Heather Price says:

Jennifer, thanks so much for all these videos, they make purchasing items so easy knowing that that are recommended by you! My favourite tool is the Misti as it makes stamping so easy. Can’t tell you how many times I miss stamped!

  15. Pat McCleary says:

Some of my favorites are EK Success tweezers , Ranger ink blenders & stamp shammy. Thanks for the helpful tips.

  16. Trish says:

Hi Jennifer! I want to take this opportunity to say how much I enjoy all your videos. You have some amazing ideas (a few of which I have actually tried and gotten raves from the recipients). You really make everything so incredibly easy to follow and you also include great tips with your techniques. Having said this, I recently purchased a MISTI (the largest one) and I absolutely love it! The next time I find a great sale like I did with this purchase, I will buy a smaller one. I think it will be a little easier to use than the large one. But it’s awesome! Thank you for all your amazing videos and for sharing your talent!

  17. Angie Brown says:

I also use a cutting board, the larger, melamine type. I love them.
I’m hoping for a new heat gun for Christmas.:)

  18. Denise Ward says:

My favorite crafting tool is the Mini Misti. I’ve wanted one for about a year and I finally got it!!! I am so excited to have this as I think it will make stamping images SO much easier!!!
The tool I would call a “must have” for any card-maker or scrapbooker is a good paper trimmer. I can’t cut things straight at all so I really rely on a tool to get the job done correctly. For anyone just getting into either of these hobbies, I strongly advise getting a trimmer that cuts paper as big as 12 x 12 for a worthwhile investment.

  19. Christina S. says:

Thanks for all of the great information! I really need that little sweeper! I am a messy crafter and it would come in handy!

  20. SusanME says:

Great list! My favorite tool is my Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy – it’s GREAT! I think I need to check out the Clarity Brushes, though… Thanks!

  21. My favorite crafty tool is post it tape. Love it. Use it all the time. I would love a few of the things you’ve featured here, though…like the Tim Holtz trimmer.

  22. Efrat says:

I love my fiskars wire trimmer and the tim holtz ruler. Can’t craft without them. Thanks for another great video.

  23. sharon clark says:

I use an Olfa rotary cutter , ruler and 12″ rotating cutting mat every time I craft. I quilt so these are second nature to me. The rotary cutter gives a very clean cut and rulers go down to an 1/8th of an inch.

  24. Dori Valdes says:

Thank you for all of your wonderful My Favorite and tutorial videos. You are by far my favorite card maker and have inspired me to create gorgeous and elegant designs like you create. I have many favorite tools, but with having to choose one, I would say my MISTI. It really is the Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented 🙂

  25. Lea M. Callais says:

These videos are delightfu! Thanks! My favorite tool is my Big Shot!

  26. Milla says:

My fave tool has to be mini Misti. I love it, it makes stamping so easy!

  27. Carol says:

My favorite tool is my Big Shot. I use it on almost every card I make…

  28. Margaret says:

My favorite crafting tool is the tombow sanding eraser because I often have inky fingers that cause blotches when stamping. 🙂

  29. AstridLyse says:

I really love my papertrimmer. I’ve had it for years, so it might be time for replacement.

  30. laura mm says:

my fave tools are my cutterbee scissors & tim holtz mini stapler 🙂

  31. I have many of the tools here but I do love that bone folder! It really does the trick.

  32. JanieT says:

My favorite tool would be my Fiskars trimmer and Teflon bone folder. I do prefer the square looking Teflon bone folder over the long one though.

  33. I have two favorite crafting tools! The first one is of course my MISTI. I would be lost without that! The second tool I reach for the most is my fiskars paper trimmer. I have to older version though, not the brand new one.

  34. Teddi Whitney says:

I want to thank you (however my husband won’t) for giving me more items that I have put on my MUST have list. I really value your opinion.

  35. 5911countess says:

My 2016 craft tool is the Handheld Pivot vac — what a quick way to be able to craft outside my normal area and then do a quick clean with the light weight portable vacuum. Originally bought on your recommendation as so many of your other items. You really know what to pick and are great at explaining the benefits!!! Thank you for all you share.

  36. Holly Denghel says:

My must have is the grid sheet pads. I love being able to pull off the top layer and have a clean surface. I also do a lot of checking to see how my stamps look on the pad before I commit it to the “good” paper.

  37. ekaterine says:

Oh how I love this series please keep them coming!!! My favourite tool is the trimmer you recommended followed by the tweezers and I’m dying to try mini misti and big shot!! maybe one day…

  41. Tina H says:

Thank you so much for sharing!! My most used tools are my Misti and my Fiskars paper trimmer!

  42. Stephanie W says:

  44. Z Sullivan says:

Thank you for all your hard work putting this series together. My favorite tool is my MISTI because , as you say, “it is a life saver.”

  45. Denise Gebalski says:

My favorite crafting tool is my cutter pillar paper trimmer. I bought the smaller to go model so it would take up less space. I can’t craft without it. Thanx for a chance to win. I am an avid follower of your videos…..love. Em!

  46. Char says:

The MISTI is hands down my favorite tool. I do have Tim’s guillotine cutter on Santa’s wish list, however. 🙂

  47. Pat C says:

I know you didn’t include it in this particular video…but the MISTI is my favorite tool! LOVE it! It has saved many a project for me! 🙂

    Sending hugs!

  48. Johnelle Winter says:

I love my good ole’ Fiskars craft trimmer…she is old and doesn’t cut straight, but I use it over and over. Can’t wait to watch your video about trimmers. It might be time to retire my old cutter and upgrade. I’m very interested in the Clarity Brushes, something I have never tried, but definitely on my wish list. Thanks for your recommendations!

  49. Mary Holshouser says:

I couldn’t live without my paper trimmer. It makes cutting
the paper fast and easy and I always get a straight cut.
I love tools. fun to see so many new things I hadn’t seen
before – have to go shopping.
    thanks for the informamtion

  50. Michelle says:

I so love that you do these videos. This is my third year watching these…they still cost me a lot of money, but can’t say no! Thanks for all you do to help educate us!
