My favorite detail to add is embossing powder. But, I must say, I’ve struggled with my paper warping and it sounds like it could be the gun I have. I would love to upgrad to the hearo arts heat gun. My other favorite tool is the ruler. So overlooked, but for someone who has grown up with a woodworker/mechanic as a father, I just can’t stand when things aren’t straight! lol
Thank you, Jennifer, for your wonderful posts!

My new favorite is the MISTI. It has totally made my stamping better and cleaner.

  7. Shelly Sweigart says:

My favorite crafting tool…hands down is the MISTI! I hardly ever stamp without the MISTI because I often double stamp since I love the bold color that gives. You have inspired me to purchase many of the other tools on your list though. Crafting is soo much more fun when you have tools to make it easier!

I have tried several paper trimmers, and had been thinking of the fiskars wire guide, but because I had so much trouble getting straight cuts, I opted for the reinforced one a couple months ago and LOVE it! Best investment ever. 🙂 I really do love these videos! Thank you so much.

  20. Tammy B says:

My fave crafting tool is my micro tip scissors. I’ve had them for years and I use them all the time. I also use micro fibre cloths all the time, for cleaning up my work space, cleaning off my stamp blocks and wiping off my stamps.

  21. Nina says:

I love embossing powder and my Big Shot! I want every card I make right now, to have something using embossing powder.

  22. Neudorf Terry says:

Hi, Jennifer . I so enjoy your videos . I find them very helpful. My favorite tool has be the misti. It has gravely improved my Stamping. Just want let to u that Shammy holder that you recommended on Amazon is unavailable and they may not know when or if it will be back in stock .

  27. Oliev says:

My favorite crafting tool is the heat gun!

Still love my Cutter Bee scissors but I headed off to Simons to shop for some of your favourites and they are all sold out! You’ll have to give them more warning what you’re going to put on your list!

  32. Vicki Capro says:

There are so many great things out there for crafters now, but I think my favorite is a tie between my Fiskars cutter with guide wire and the wonderful Bone folder. After watching the video I will have took into a Teflon one. It’s been so much fun using the great tools you feature in your videos

  33. Cassie says:

I didn’t really like the heat tool I had, so I got the hero arts one – huge improvement! I’ve also been loving the tweezers, after seeing you use them a ton and getting a pair. Made learning to thread my mom’s serger much easier last week, too. Haven’t had as much luck with my t-ruler, though – it’s pretty good, but it’s not flat enough to use to line up sentiment stamps. 🙁 Apparently I’ll need to get a Westcott one at some point.

  34. Lindsay Meyers says:

The silhouette cameo is by far my favorite crafting tool. Sooo many options : )

  35. Love my mini ink blending tools!

  36. Debbie Morris says:

I absolutely love the Lawn Fawn stamp shammy-though I don’t have one yet. It’s on my list of things to buy!

  37. Cyndi C. says:

It’s just so hard to name one favorite but I’ll say my Hero Arts heat gun. I really love the embossing on cards.

  38. D Fricano says:

It would have to be my die cut machine…can’t live without it!

  39. Sarah M says:

I didn’t know there were differences in heating guns. I stay away from heating embossing vellum because it warps to badly and then it looks bad on my cards unless I can hide a lot of glue dots under it! I use my heat gun a lot otherwise. I suppose I use my die cutting machine for dies and embossing the most.

  40. Diann :) says:

Great recommendations and tips, Jennifer! 🙂
I have always wanted to try the Clarity Stencil Brushes.
I have the Tim Holtz scissors and love them!

  41. I am a big fan of a lot of these tools (which I found through you!)…but a crossover tool that I absolutely LOVE is the Pivot VAC. I have a toddler, so I use it every single day, even when I’m not crafting. My parents even went out and bought one for their house after using mine.

  42. Dee Earnshaw says:

Wow this is a great list of craft tools – I am going to send this list to Santa lol!!!
My favorite tool would have to be the cutter bee scissors for the detailed fussy cutting:)

  43. Jo-Anne says:

I love my reverse tweezers and the powder tool. Both have been a lifesaver for keeping my projects neat!

  44. Sphoorti Madugula says:

The heat tool is my favorite! No heat, no embossing! lol!

  45. Jennifer says:

The mini ink blending tool is one of my favorite tools that I own from your list. Really need to get a couple other items.

  46. Kilcha says:

By far my most beloved stamping tool is my MISTI. I think that I have purchased most of the items in this video and have found them so useful. 🙂 My most used tools are my teflon bone folder and micropore tape.
