My favorite ink is Versamark and I use it on virtually every project.

You might want to update the contest date from 11:59pmEST on 12/5/16 🙂

I have a question about the mini distress inks. I have been debating shifting to them completely. I have some but I’m finding them to be a mix, some work great while others are somewhat dry and don’t work as great. And I bought these as soon as the colors came out so it isn’t like there were around for months and years and hence dried out.

  3. Nancy James says:

My favorite inks are Stampin Up, Distress Ink, and Versa Mark. I’ve never mixed different brands together. I will have to try that out soon. I also didn’t know that you really didn’t need to reink most pads. I’ve often wondered if I would ever need the reinkers, especially of pads bought years ago. These are good things to know. Thanks Jennifer.

  4. My favorite new inks are the Altenew inks. I love their newest colors.

  5. Kary M says:

That’s a good question… I have some Distress inks and some Hero Arts Shadow Inks and use them equally. If I have to choose a fav I guess it’s the Distress inks because they’re so versatile.

  6. Em says:

Please ignore my note on updating the date on my last comment.
We write it DD/MM so I read it wrong lol. And I can’t find the edit option. Dang!

  7. KKYLIE FITZGERALDylie F says:

Loving the lawn fawn inks AND distress inks. But MY FAVOURITE BLACK for sentiments is Staz On Jet Black, this works fantastic on even basic white cardstock. Which has come in handy when making the cards for the caring hearts card drive, as I have run out of my favourite white cardstock!

I’ve used Memento Tuxedo Black forever–in fact, I just replaced an 8- year-old ink pad. I use Versafine Onyx Black for sentiments. My Versamark pad has lasted many, many years, and I have over 30 full-size Distress pads with reinkers. I’ve yet to find a good white ink pad and don’t use colored dye inks very often.

I’m a newbe when it comes to stamping. I started with the distress inks for all the cool techniques. I soon found out they were not good for stamping. I invested in the cubes from Altenew, and I’m loving them. I would now like to invest in the hero arts shadow inks. Beautiful colors and would love to play with some of the techniques you have shown. Truly loving and learning from your videos.
