  1. Lola Goldberg says:

I have a lot of the SU inks (dye) as well as Fresh inks (pigment) and Distress inks. Recently, as a result of watching your videos, I’ve become interested in the ink that Altenew makes. The colors look beautiful, and the coverage looks nice and smooth. Thank you for always providing us with wonderful information to help us make good decisions!

  2. Laurie Saenz says:

I’ve always loved working with Prismacolor pencils, but you’ve inspired me to venture out.

  3. Laura Walls says:

Versa Mark ink for anything you need jet black! It’s the best by far!

  4. Paulina says:

Versafine onyx black for 50% of my sentiments. Versamark with embossing for the other 50% 😀 I would love to try more die inks, I just got some from Hero Arts for my birthday, haven’t had a chance to try them yet.

  5. Bunny says:

I’ve never tried any other than Memento. Well, yes, I’ve tried the Distress cubes.

  6. Hollyk1226 says:

I use momento inks a lot and distress inks. I am always willing to try a new ink and just have fun.

  7. Mary Schmidt says:

I enjoy the many techniques available with Disress Inks.

  8. Francene V. Greene says:

I love the VersaFine pigment ink. Great for stamps with fine detail.

  9. I tend to use dye inks with the exception of VersaFine Black Onyx. My favorites are Simon Says, Hero Arts and the Ranger inks. But I am loving the Altenew coordinated sets — really great for layered stamps.

  10. Pam Goes says:

So many! Distress inks are a favorite. And versamark is a must have. And I’d love to add to my delicata colors!

  11. Victoria says:

I think VersaMark and Memento Tuxedo Black are my favorites. But I’m always up to trying something new!

  12. SoniaW says:

My favorites are Versafine Onyx Black, VersaMark Ink and Distress inks. About paper, have you tried the Gina K white card stock ? Can you make a video comparing these two papers ?

  13. Kerry in PA says:

For black, especially fine detailed stamps, I always use Versafine onyx black. For color, I like the memento tear drops but I am branching out and trying some of the others from Simon Says Stamp, Altenew and Hero Arts so who knows, maybe next year I’ll have a different favorite.

  14. Steffi H. says:

I have to admit that I love the Stampin up pads most.

  15. Tina Thomsen says:

I almost always am using versafine black right now. I really love how dark and crisp it stamps. I wrote to Santa about the hero arts shadow inks, so we’ll see what happens. 🙂

My favorite inks are Distress and VersaMark

  20. Sandy in Calif. says:

I always keep VersaMark as well as a good black ink for coloring over. But I have to admit, my absolute favorite ink right now is Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. Love that deep dark color, which make such great night skys and then reacts with water for some starry highlights. Too gorgeous! Thanks for the video.

  21. Robin says:

I love my Versafine Onyx Black for sentiments…great detail!!!

  22. Miriam Prantner says:

My favorite inks are definitely Altenew, I love the coverage and that they don’t stain so badly.

  23. Thank you–again–for all the hard work you put into these videos! They are indeed really helpful. I don’t know if I have one favorite ink. I do like Versafine Onyx Black for greetings, & Versamark for heat embossing. But I tend to go more with what color I need, whether it’s by Memento, Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp, etc. Generally, they are dye inks, though. And I do also love Distress inks for different techniques. Thank you again not only for showing us the inks, but also for all the invaluable tips. Hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂 ~ Andrea

  24. J Aukema says:

I love distress inks. I also love the Versamark ink for heat embossing. The Versafine is a great ink for getting fine details, I often turn to it when my stamps just aren’t giving the results I want.

  25. Anita says:

Thanks for sharing all of your likes!

  28. Eileen Freter says:

Because I use Copics, I find Memento is the ink I go to most. However, I use the Distress inks for everything other than stamping.

  30. Megan Niergarth says:

I use a lot of Shadow Inks and SSS inks. I’d love to try the WPlus9 inks… their colors are fun 🙂

  31. Krista D says:

I have several inks. Probably more than I need. My favorite black ink is moments tuxedo.

  32. Mutzy Mia says:

I have 95% SU inks, only because that is what I was first introduced to. I’m considering branching out into other brands as I’m not 100% satisfied with them but after I’ve invested so much money into them it’s hard to justify trying other inks. I appreciated your comments about use many different brands and not just one. I think I’m going to try some other brands and see how they compare. Thanks for all the information which has given my some direction to begin branching out. I do use the Versafine black for my black ink but think I’ll try the Hero Arts black too.

  33. Zehra says:

My favorite ink is altenew and my favorite things, but I want to try Gina k

  34. scraplea says:

  35. Tricia Ann says:

My favorite inks are from Hero Art. I appreciate your review of the inks. Your videos help SO MUCH! Thank YOU!

  36. Love your swatch book idea, I would like to invest in some stamps to use with multi step stamping.
My favorite inks right now are distress, they are useful for so many techniques!

  37. Jen Hayes says:

I’m a bit newer to all of this and originally had some generic ink. Watching your videos over the past few years I acquired the distress inks, which I love for techniques, and have decided to take your advice and try not to collect every brand of ink…..that said, I’ve been purchasing the Lawn Fawn inks as they have been released. I got some Simons Says Stamp ink from a friend a little awhile ago though and I might be in trouble sticking to just one kind. 🙂

  38. Melissa says:

My favorite dye inks are my older Close to My Heart ink pads. My most used inks are Memento, because they can be safely used with Copics. (Though I now think I should look into the MFT hybrid for that purpose.) For pigment, I like the Ranger archival inks. I like the idea of the Altenew having color families, especially in cube size. Maybe one day I’ll transition over to Altenew for the ease of color coordination and the space the cubes will save.

  39. Joy says:

My absolute favorite black ink is Versafine onyx black!

  40. Becky says:

Thanks for all the great info! Ok you put me on to distress inks several years ago and to date they are still my favorite inks. I just have so much fun with them. I reach for them over and over again.

  41. Clara Timmons says:

I think this’s my second time watching this…..stopped in the middle!

Love to try some more dye ink as the one I had is very old. thanks!

  42. Jeanne mason says:

My favorite in is the versafine onyx pigment ink however I would love to try the mft black hybrid ink

  43. karenladd says:

I have a lot of ink pads but my favorite one for images is my Versafine pad in Onyx. Love the way it stamps detailed designs so perfect.y

  44. On a daily basis, my Versafine Onyx Black ink is my best friend – it’s so crisp, and I love it for sentiments! For colouring, I mostly use the MFT Hybrid Licorice Black Ink. And for any addition of colour, I love love love my mini Distress Inks – such a fab price, so many gorgeous colours, and the amount of techniques with them is nearly endless! (most of which I learn thanks to you, Jennifer! :-))

  45. Jenny D says:

My favourite ink would have to be Versamark because there are so many uses for it so you really get your money’s worth.

  46. Metalnursedebbie says:

My favorite ink is the Versamark

  47. Kim Dessormeau says:

I don’t have a lot of experience with ink. I use all Stampin Up products as that is what I was first introduced too. After watching this video, I really want to explore. Thank you !

  48. Sarah Mulholland says:

I too love the new Ranger dyes and versafine as well.

  49. Janet Dressler says:

I love versamark because you can do so much with it. As far as pigment inks I love Lawn Fawn but recently purchased the cubes for Altenew and I think I need the larger sizes of some colors!! Love your favorites! Even seeing them 3 years in a row now I still get inspired and have tried many new things!

  50. I love any black waterproof ink
