Foil Stamping and New Inks + Giveaway!

Hello!

Just wanted to pop in to let you know about a few fun things that are happening. And do a BIG giveaway!

FOIL STAMPING VIDEO

I am a guest today over on the Ellen Hutson blog HERE… showing more examples of adding foil to stamped images. (You can see my original video HERE.) I just adore these flower and “hello” sentiment stamps from Julie Ebersole. They look great with the DecoFoil!

To see the video, head on over to Ellen Hutson.

GIVEWAY

Ellen said that I could give away some of the products I used in the video! This is an awesome prize pack – a laminator, stamp set, adhesive and 3 packs of foil! For your chance, leave a comment here by 11:59pmEST on 5/19/15  telling me a bit of good news in your life. (The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on my “Winners page” after the giveaway closes. International folks are eligible, too!)

Check out this giveaway!

Good luck!

NEW ALTENEW INKS

My friends over at Altenew are releasing a new line of inks and are celebrating with a blog hop. The hop starts HERE at 9:00amEST today (5/15/15)… so be sure to check it out.

I am really excited to play with their new ink line… which are formulated to be perfect for stamp layering techniques. I wanted to do a video for you today showing how to use them… but I am honestly having trouble keeping up with it all at the moment! (Being a momma comes first here.) But I promise to show them to you in the future and get you some ink swatch downloads. 🙂 In the meantime, you can see the new inks HERE.

See you soon. Have a fabulous weekend. Audrey has prom this weekend and we are celebrating Lila’s 3rd birthday – can’t wait!

  42. Carol says:

good news – getting the kitchen redone. . . can’t wait for the chaos to result in a beautiful new kitchen. . .

  43. I love your foiling! It’s gorgeous!

I graduated 4 years ago with a degree in forensic biology and a minor in chemistry and I’ve watched all of my friends getting “big girl” jobs, while I have been unsuccessful in my field and holding down a waitressing job. It pays the bills, but it’s not what I want to do with my life. I’ve been volunteering at a Christian school helping kids that need a little extra push with their studies and I became aware of a few full time teaching positions opening up. I really feel God’s hand in this. I’ve had my interview and so far no one else has expressed interest in the position. I feel excited even though I don’t have the job yet. Regardless of if I get it or not, I will continue volunteering because it brings so much joy to the kids! So I suppose my good news is that I feel hope again!

  44. Rachel K says:

Good news: my daughter turned 5 this week and is learning to ride her (new) bike! So fun. 🙂

  45. Amy Jones says:

What a beautiful card. I didn’t know you could do that. Very awesome. This last year has been really hard. Trying to raise a child on your own is no joke… but I always like to look at the positive in every and situation, even the worse. I hit rock bottom after separating from my husband, still trying to get the divorce finalized, but I will have to say… no matter how hard it was and even though it’s not final yet…. life is good. I have a job, wonderful people that have helped me and an amazing 9 year old son. I feel blessed just knowing I’m still here and God put the right people in my life. I’ve learned a lot over the last year. I’ve climbed so many mountains…. I’m proud of myself for all I have over come. I may not have much and my journey and hard times are not done . But I have love… I have faith.. I have strength I never knew I had. And that is enough,..

  46. Ann says:

My good news for the week is that my son is finally getting over his cold/cough. He has been sick non stop (it seems) with constant colds/coughs since school started.

  47. Patty says:

Some great news is that our little one is finally starting to get the hang of swimming. He’s been working hard at it and seems to be doing a lot better lately.

  48. Krissie says:

We have much to be grateful for in our lives. Recently my husband has been quite stressed with so many different things going on at work. And finally, he is getting a little mental break from everything…so that is the good news for us.

  49. Pat from sd says:

My sister in law will be closing escrow on a new home in about 2 weeks. This is such awesome news and such a great time of celebrating with her and her family.

  50. Jill says:

My good new is that school is out in 3 weeks! Love spending my summers crafting and reading. Of corse a good glass of wine with girlfriends is also in order.
