VIDEO: Simple Stencil Masking
Hello! I am taking a break from My Favorite Crafty Things to share a card. (I was itchin’ to create!) This is a short video and simple card… and a guest post for the kind folks at Sweet Stamp Shop.

Sometimes I just ache to make a simple, one layer (or almost one layer) card. But I still like a bit of texture. The solution? Combining a bit of masking with a stencil and texture paste. After stamping and coloring the cute Cheese Please images from Sweet Stamp Shop, I masked the images with a die cut circle before putting the Simon Says Stamp must-have Tiny Dots stencil on top. Next up? Texture paste and sparkle embossing powders. That’s it! A “one layer” card with texture and shine.
HEADS UP
I really like the playful little images that Sweet Stamp Shop has to offer. Since their sets are smaller, the prices rock!
Well, Sweet Stamp Shop is having their yearly big blow out sales event from 11/21/14 – 11/28/14… and I thought you might be interested. Their shop will be marked down 10-70% off – no coupon codes needed! Also, the first 80 orders over $20 will get a free stamp set (the new ‘Petite Sweet’ – Guac Love – the one in the image above). For details, head over to Sweet Stamp Shop.
