Another Heads Up!

Hello! Just popping in to share a few more things that may be of interest to you.

HELP KIDS WITH DIABETES

My dear friend, Kristina, is working with her daughter to raise money to make kids with diabetes smile. Juvenile diabetes is such a terrible disease (my brother has it, as does Kristina’s young daughter), so I am big on supporting this effort. By donating money, you are eligible for some *HUGE* and awesome crafty prizes, including prizes from Online Card Classes and Simon Says Stamp. Check it out HERE.

NEW CLEARLY BESOTTED & PAPER SMOOCHES

I’ll be honest – I am really struggling lately to find time to be crafty. I am just going through a time where my friends and family need me more than my stamps do. (Although I honestly feel I need my stamps right now!) But these new Clearly Besotted products are on the top of my list to play with.

I also thought you might like the new release from Paper Smooches. Fruit that you can put legs and faces on? So cute!

STORAGE UPDATE

So you all know that I am a HUGE fan of the Avery Elle Stamp Pockets. Just wanted to give you a heads up that two more options are available now. First, Ellen Hutson has stamp pockets that are the same size but thicker. Second, Simon Says Stamp has pockets that seem to be similiar to Avery Elle’s, but come in packs of 50. Although I will still be using Avery Elle’s (since I bought enough to last me a lifetime – I hope!), it is great to have options! I will be comparing them in a video soon…

MY FAVORITE CRAFTY THINGS 2014

Yep! I am hoping to bring My Favorite Crafty Things to you again this year. (I have been getting a lot of emails!) Please know that my blog comes second to my family and friends… but I am hoping to bring this series to you soon. Yay! Stay tuned.

That’s all for now. See you soon. xo

  3. Of course, family and friends come first. We know that and understand that. At least I hope the blogosphere does. We are your fans and we care about you. Jennifer, you do what you need to in order to come back to your blog when YOU are ready, refreshed and ready to soar.

  4. I’m feeling the same. There are so many crafty things I want to do, but my family needs me. Just so grateful that I do get time to craft, your videos are a huge resource. It’s busy this time of year. Thanks for all that you do and your amazing generosity.

  5. Thank you Jennifer. Even when they all leave home you can be surprised how much family still needs us for support, a shoulder to cry on, prayers. I’m so glad your family comes first! Don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere!:)

  6. I appreciate all you do…… I love this blog and can always go back to some old videos to get my Jennifer fix. You do what needs to be done with your family. Have a great weekend.

  7. It’s not easy being you sometimes and I think we all understand. You have your priorities in order, and we have your videos! You are always so inspiring and a great teacher. I can’t tell you how much stuff I’ve acquired over the last year or so watching you – and someday I’ll REALLY use it all. lol. I follow you on Instagram and often wonder how you can do all that you do. We’ll all be waiting for your next blog post.

  9. THANK YOU for the update 🙂
Sorry that things are so hectic for you but I am proud of your priorities – FAMILY should ALWAYS come first!!!

  10. That you have your priorities in order is one of the many things that makes you so special to your fans! Crafting can be that non-chemical dose of Prozac-so pray that you will take a little time for it regardless of whether you can grace us with videos. Caring for yourself is the best way to make certain you can care for your family.

  12. Just a note to thank you for all you do. I really enjoy your posts and particularly appreciate your professionalism, awareness of the time constraints we all face and the detailed information always provided which makes all your cool ideas so accessible. Thanks!!

  13. Yes, relationships come first. You deserve and need to take all the breaks that opportunity affords you with family and friends. Hope you are having the most magical time with the family. Hope Audrey is doing well. Princess Lila looks like she is truly in her Kingdom.

  14. It is refreshing to hear a young, busy, working mom verbalized her priorities of family and friends. You are “Right On”, and you take whatever time you need to get through these current circumstances. We will be right here, waiting to enjoy your next post. Prayers to you all.

  15. I am in the same boat when it comes to not having time to craft because I’m taking extra time for family. That’s a good thing however to put family first. They are a big part of our life & we love them dearly. Hopefully you can get back to crafting soon. I love your videos & you are a great inspiration to me. One sweet talented lady you are!

  16. Keeping you and your family in my prayers today!! Family is much more important and we will still be here supporting you! Thanks for your note about your friend Kristina and her daughter. I was blessed to go over and make a donation for her cause!

  17. I sent my cards in for the card drive and just want to be sure they arrived OK. If you aren’t getting enough, please let me know and I will make some more!

  18. It’s always a good thing to stop and take stock of priorities. When you get back on track, I would like to suggest a clear stamp storage envelope you might want to add to your comparison video. Sugarpeadesigns.com has one that, in my opinion, is heads above others on the market. Waterproof, archival, reinforced edges, 9 mil thick. $5.00 for a set of 10. I am not endorsing this product because of compensation I’m receiving. I personally use these bags. I hope you give them a “look see”.

  19. You are awesome Jennifer! We all understand that priorities comes first and taking care of yourself and family is a major benefit to functioning smoothly and like a well oiled machine. Praying for you and your family and that everyone gets better soon or at least where they are better able to manage life such as dealing with juvenile diabetes! At least you know that you have crafting to help relieve stress when it can seem overwhelming! Prayers going up, blessings coming down.

  20. I like your family focus. Don’t give a second thought to your blog. We will all be waiting for you when you time permits. You and your family come first.

  21. Time has a habit of “flying too fast”! I’m amazed at all you do in the first place! Hope you at least find a little “Jennifer” time too 🙂

  22. I´m always in awe of all that you do and often I wonder how you squeeze all your acitivities in a 24 hour day – a blog can wait, family needs can´t :O)

Thanks for all the great, informational videos and the wonderful tipps and tricks. I´ve learned so much from your blog!

    Greetings, Christine

  23. Of course, your “other” life comes first! Time with our family and friends is so precious and is rightfully at the top of the priority list. We love you even more for having such clear boundaries!

  24. Hi Jennifer, I’m very proud of you in making the loving choice of taking care of family. Your heart will be at peace knowing you’re making the lives of your loved ones your priority. They will always remember your love and sacrifice. My prayers for all of you.

    Kathy

  26. Dear Jennifer – your blog is a wonderful source of inspiration and knowledge and hope. And I am GLAD that you are spending the needed time with family and friends. People need to come first in our worlds, and it is just so easy to get our priorities mixed up. Thanks for sharing your talent, and walking the talk!

  27. Family comes first!
    Take a Blog break!!
We know you will be back.
We can finally sit in our studios and use all the products you taught us about.
    Cheers!

  28. As much as I look forward to your posts and videos, your family and friends have to always come first. I hope this means that you are just busy with them and that nothing
serious is going on. Just know that I am always grateful and inspired when you post but can wait as long as you need.

  29. Don’t worry about it, Jennifer. We all have seasons when we have to step back and take care of necessities. Blessings prayed on you, your family and friends. I agree, you have your priorities in order.

  30. Hi Jennifer, Thanks for keeping all of us, (your fans) updated! I personally love the fact that have your priorities in line. Family should always come before our jobs, or hobbies or anything else! God bless you and your family!

In the meantime, know that we’ll (you fans) still be here whenever you can set aside time for us. Thank you (and your family) for sharing your time and talents. You are valued and appreciated!
