I love Stampin Up shimmer white paper. It is so pretty with the subtle sparkle and it holds up great with water so you can do some fun techniques with it!

I have been thinking on ordering some of the veneer wood paper, and finally took the leap. I can’t wait to try it

Hi Jennifer! I love that you share your favorites. You know, I am so CHEAP. I come from a long long line of cheap people, thrifty might be a better word. My husband likes to buy quality and be comfortable in the fact that it will last. I will be the first to admit, thrifty is not always the way to go. Sometimes, I even end up doing both, because the thrifty way failed. I’m also torn between getting all of the things I want and being able to foot the bill for all of it. I’m a totaly die-0-holic and stamp addict. I have been using Georgia Pacific white CS for my bases and calendars for about 5 years and it just isn’t cutting it anymore. It’s easy to get at Wal-mart, when I run out and I can drive 5 min. and have more. I don’t know what has happened. Is it the quality? A lot of things are on a down hill slide since the depression has lasted so long, what are we 5-6 years? And something has happened to change the quality of this CS, even thought it still says 110 lb., I don’t believe it to be that anymore. I have some Stampin’UP! CS, but I feel it’s expensive, so I don’t use it. LOL I’m so weird that way! I don’t want to have to order and pay shipping, so I recently discovered The Paper Studio heavy weight white CS at Hobby Lobby, it was 50% off of the $8.99 for 50 sheets, and I spurged and got 2 packs. I really like it. It’s what I’m going to start using. I wish the Craft stores or Office Supply stores carried the Neenah Solar White. I would definately try it.

  8. Donna Kay says:

I have a lot of Close to my heart paper, so I’m working thru that right now but I see samples in my future, and the distress watercolor paper just might become my favorite

  9. Elaine says:

Thanks for your input of paper — agree that there are some interesting ones out there. I have not tried the Ellen Craft Board and that might be interesting to try. Great Series!!

  10. stacie d says:

    I used Bazzill and DCWV.

  11. SJ says:

Who doesn’t love all kinds of paper? Can one ever have enough? The distress watercolor paper is something I want to try.

  12. Janet L. says:

I have paper of all kinds and brands, it seems, but I lean toward the packs of white cardstock found (with a coupon) at Jo-ann’s and the Bazzill brand from Archiver’s.
