  1. My favorite crafting tool … that’s a tough one! Card making is so much easier with the correct tools. If I have to choose only one, I guess it would have to be my Ranger craft mat since I use it EVERY time. My 3 year old granddaughter likes to work with me and it’s been a life saver more than once!

  2. I always hate when the last day comes around because I really enjoy seeing all the products you have found and used. Some are always new to me. Thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to next year already!

  3. I’ve had a craft mat for a long time and just started using it, wow what was I thinking, should have been using this all the time I’ve had it. Your heat tool looks amazing, and its a Milwaukee one of my DH favorites, hmmm might not want that because I might not have it for long. I guess I could share, NOT!!!!!!

  4. My favorite crafting tool at the moment might be my Martha Stewart Scoring Board. It’s been so nice to have that instead of working so hard to line up my edges and then have a bumpy fold when I press it down. I am also really happy with my Scotch adhesive tape runner, it’s yellow and very heavy duty. Although finding the refills isn’t always easy, and never inexpensive. 🙂 But I can live with that as long as my pages and my cards stay together.

  5. My very old Fiskar green and purple paper trimmer that is well loved and used a ton is falling apart from old age. I keep looking at the many Fiskar trimmers (and other brands) wondering which one to buy. Thank for the info.

  6. Great double video. Love the idea of backing the craft mat as it has always been a problem for me to put aside without rolling it up. With the backing, it should lean up again the wall/desk/cupboard. As the craft mat is teflon, it should be a problem with using a heat tool as the Silhouette Cutting mat is protected. Also love, love, love my Fiskars cutter. Glad you agree.

  7. Right now it is my cutterbee paper trimmer…. I can’t do a straight cut with a ruler and craft knife… so it is my life saver… moving on I would love to use the stamp press….

  8. Thanks for the give aways. It is really nice of you to give stuff away. I really like all the things that you make and all the videos u do. Thanks so much for continuing to make us videos and other stuff. I really appreciate you showing us your favorite things so that we can get the stuff u like and don’t get the things u don’t like. Thanks for everything.

  9. I have a real weakness for tools of any kind but many just gather dust. My favorite tools would have to be my punches and dies for my die cut machines. I find I use them often and they are so versatile

  10. I purchased a set of Claudine Helmuth rocking acrylic blocks from Crafters Companion that I LOVE. I FINALLY am getting great stamp impressions. For some reason I have a hard time getting even pressure with flat blocks… I think it’s my crafting table, but these rockers are awesome. =)

  11. At the moment my Fiskars Premium Paper trimmer is my most used crafting tool as well as my Making Memories Slice machine. So far it is still working well and I love its compact size.

  12. I’m a fan of tools! They make crafting process much easier. I can concentrate on creative process and not invent the wheel.
The fave and most used tool I can say is Ranger blending tool. Also cannot imagine crafting without embossing powder tool.

  13. Does my imagination count? Currently, I am having a blast with the WR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I also love my Sizzix Big Shot.

  14. My favorite tools are my Vagabond, heat gun, Teflon bone folder, T-ruler, Tim Holtz Tonic scissors and Ranger craft mat. My Vagabond has saved my weak wrists and thumbs from additional stress and I don’t know how I could create without it. I’ve worn out several craft mats and 3 heat guns. The Hero Arts Milwaukee heat gun and the MS Stamp Press (I knocked my Fiskars stamp press off my desk and broke it!) are the first two items on my wish list this year; plus I go through masking tape by the roll. How lucky would I be to win this prize package?

Thank you, Jennifer for the great tips on your favorite tools. =^..^=

  15. Favorite tool, huh? I have to have my Martha Stewart score board. I can’t live without it, I even bought the mini for card class. I LOVE dies, but I don’t think that’s what we’re talking about here. I’ll tell you what I use most often, is a good old regular ruler, not exactly my favorite, but a must have.

  16. Thanks for the great suggestions!! I always come back to your site for must have items. I do have a question about the bone folder you linked though. Why is it so much more expensive than other bone folders? I usually see them for about $6-$9 but this one is $22. Thanks!

  17. My current favorite crafting tool is a really cheap dollar store pair of scissors. It is spring loaded, which makes the cutting easier on my hands and the blades are really sharp. I abuse them a lot, since they should be easy to replace if I ever need to. I got them in the spring, so they have been going strong for about 8 or 9 months now. The blades are smaller and cut through multiple layers of paper easily. I also really like cereal bag liners for inexpensive craft mats. I don’t know what they are made of, but I have used them for hot glue without any problems. I have even ironed the really wrinkled ones between fabric layers to smooth them out.

  18. My Cuttlebug will always be at the top of my list of favourite things.I’ve had it for many years without any problems. My eBosser will never take it’s place.
