Stamping with Texture
Hello. Quick share with you for today.
I did this card for the Hero Arts blog, but I love the technique so much I wanted to share it here.
With one simple background stamp and a good white pigment ink, you can easily add the look of texture to any stamped images…
Take a closer look. See that canvas texture? I just first stamped the white cardstock with the Hero Arts Canvas Background with Unicorn White Pigment Ink. I then stamped over it with Hero Arts Shadow Inks (or any dye ink)… resulting in the look of texture. The white pigment ink slightly resists the dye ink on top. Subtle yet awesome.
I also added a pop-up-gift-card-holding-thingy to the inside. I showed this in the Insider class. I love the ideas from this class! (You can see how to make this pop up in class.)
Here is the Canvas Background stamp. Perfect for this technique and backgrounds in general…
That’s it! See you tomorrow with a fun video and discount code!
