Operation Write Home Blog Skip with Hero Arts
Operation Write Home is an organization that collects cards for our soldiers to send home to family. I admire them greatly, so I am honored to be a part of their birthday “blog skip” (a small hop) today.
I have two cards – both using the OWH stamps from Hero Arts. (A portion of the profits of these stamps go back to support OWH.)
I stamped all the people with Wet Cement Ink… except the one I inked with Tide Pool using a bit of masking. I colored in the heart with a red marker. The hearts are punched from my favorite heart border punch and added with foam dots.
This next one is a super quick one. I did the little inked dots around the stamping (from THIS great set) with a new pencil eraser I stole from my son and some Neon Inks. (Shhhh.) Worked perfectly…
I hope you will consider making cards for Operation Write Home. The guidelines are simple – so easy!
Thanks for stopping by. Next, skip on over to the blog of JoAnn – HERE. (If you want to start at the beginning of the blog skip, head on over HERE.)
(By the way, I have some winners. I have emailed you all! The personalized stamp winners are Lori Schwaderer and Anne Hartschlag. The Distress Glitter goes to Janet Wilson. Merica, JoseeG and Andrea La Vigne won spots in the Insider class. And finally, the winners for Tim’s Creative Chemistry 102 are izolda, Amber M. and Patricia F.)
