A Cut Above Die Cutting Class + Giveaways

Wanted to give you a heads up on a new jam-packed, 3-week, creative die cutting class I have coming up called A Cut Above. This is the newest class from our Online Card Classes and it starts on Monday the 16th. I am excited to have teamed up with Kristina Werner and Nichol Magouirk for this fun class…

Here’s the info…

Are you a die cutting expert or do you consider yourself a novice? Do you prefer a traditional die cutting machine or would you rather use your computer to design what you’ll be cutting? Or maybe you’re just not sure! Never fear, we’re here to help! Join Kristina Werner, Jennifer McGuire, guest instructor Nichol Magouirk and many great guests for A Cut Above, as they show you the ins and outs and everything you need to know about the various die cutting systems.

You’ll leave class with the knowledge of numerous tips and creative techniques for using the Big Shot, Vagabond, Cuttlebug and Grand Calibur with various types of dies and embossing folders, as well as the Silhouette Cameo. The first half of class will be devoted to traditional die cutting methods and the second half will be focused on the increasingly popular Silhouette (Cameo, SD, and original Silhouette). Simple to complex, beginning to advanced – we’ll cover it all!

This three-week interactive class includes free downloads (including from guest artist Ali Edwards), BIG prizes, galleries, a Q&A forum and lifetime access! Class runs April 16 to May 7, but content will be available for a lifetime.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO & TO REGISTER!

If you’re interested in only the traditional die cutting portion of the class, or maybe in just the Silhouette portion, we will be offering A Cut Above in two separate parts on May 15. You can find more info on that HERE.

Giveaway time! I have three spots to give away in the A Cut Above class. Leave a comment here telling me your favorite die cutting machine or if you are dreaming of having one. I will pick 3three winners on Wednesday 11:59pmEST. If you have already registered for the class and win, we will give you a refund. 🙂

Hope you have a blessed and happy Easter, filled with the peace of knowing He has Risen. Take care!

  18. hi! you are amazing. i love all your videos filled with great techniques and tips… i am definitely a novice. recently, i’ve experimented using my spellbinder dies with my cuttlebug. i am dreaming of owning a silhouette 🙂 it would be great to be able to cut out soooo many more different shapes!

  19. I have the original sizzix die cut, the big shot and the cuttlebug. i want the new cameo. I am registered for the class and will wait for it to start. i am checking out my dies now. 21. Dreaming of the Silhouette Cameo machine. Have heard some concerns that unless you are very computer savvy you could have difficulties. Hope this class will help alleviate my concerns somewhat. Loving my Cuttlebug for now.

  22. I have a Spellbinders wizard but haven’t upgraded because I want an electronic machine that can cut the Spellbinders grand dies as well as the Sizzix dies. I just have the thin metal dies, so like idea of the genius platform from lifestyle crafts. A love the idea of the Silhouette Cameo as well–being able to cut my own designs or from some of my stamps. Wish there was one thing that did it all.

  23. I have used the Cuttlebug and the Big Shot and I love my Big Shot!! I can’t seem to make anything without doing some embossing – I love adding texture to my cards!

  24. I’m new to die-cutting and have a Cuttlebug, so that would have to be my favorite. I resisted for a long time, but I have to admit it’s opened up a whole new fun world! I have to sign up for your class. Thank you so much, and thank you for the opportunity to win a spot!

  26. Hi Jennifer! I have the original Silhouette and just love it. I use it on almost every layout I do, but I would love to know how to use it even better. Thank you so much for this chance to win a place in the class. 🙂

  27. favorite machine… Silhouette, of course I had a mini sizzix sidekick first and still do, then got hooked on youtube and bought an original cuttlebug. I have a sizzix big kick still in the box… oh and a wizard from ebay, an original black model I think… it is hard to pick a favorite. The cuttlebug is still a quick go to machine that I would never give up. Silhouette original is fab and now with a Cameo, I just need more time to play. Looking forward to this class and would love to win a freebee spot. Blessings for your new baby! Congrats to you and your entire family.
