Today I am excited to introduce my next Invited Sponsor, Studio Calico. (And, be sure to keep reading for a giveaway opportunity…)

Studio Calico is an amazing company that I admire greatly. Why? Here are 10 reasons…

(10.) Studio Calico has very popular monthly kits that include the most gorgeous assortments of papers, embellishments and more. They come from many popular manufacturers – all perfectly picked to work well together. It is quite magical.

(9.) And, if you are like me and want more more more, you can get any of the add-on kits. More good stuff.

(8.) The owner, April, is the most adorable gal who has ever entered this industry. A true class act.

(7.) Studio Calico is based out of Kentucky on a farm… and that makes me smile. (April is a UK fan, too… yay!)

(6.) Studio Calico also manufacturers their own papers, stamps, mists and embellishments, too. The colors are yummy. (See more below. You can find their products in your local stores and online HERE.)

(5.) The Studio Calico design team is without a doubt the best design team in this industry. Many of my favorite crafty gals are there including Kelly, Maggie, Stephanie, Susan and more.

(4.) Studio Calico has a fabulous gallery with lots of project ideas. Inspiring.

(3.) Studio Calico has an amazing community with an active message board and gallery. You must check it out.

(2.) I love their blog. Delightful.

(1.) Using their kits makes crafting so simple. Everything goes together so well… it’s magical, I tell ya!

So, I thought I would share a card I created using some of Studio Calico’s products. (These are products they manufacture which are included in their kits and also are sold in stores. Love that!)

See those scallop edges? Those are cut from some of the SC shaped papers.

See that fun yellow wood grain? That is cut from some Studio Calico packaging. Yes, even their packaging is delicious.

See those butterflies? I LOVE those butterflies. They are wood veneer (HERE) and made my Studio Calico. I just quickly colored them with Vintage Photo Distress Stains. I then wrapped string around the body several times and tied at the top for antennae.

Here is a peek at the butterflies, and also some other wood shapes they have. They are thin, so perfect for crafting. You can color them with Copics, embossing powder, Distress Stains/Inks, etc. You can find them all HERE.

So, how about a giveaway? Just leave a comment here by Friday at 11:59pmEST and I will pick a winner of a set of Studio Calico Countryside Mr. Huey Mists (these rock) and the popular bubble background stamp. Fabulous, huh?
