Happy Full Tummy Day…

Hello!

I hope all you US-folks are recovering from a big day of eating yesterday. I am enjoying the time with family – movies (saw adorable Megamind tonight), shopping (with my girls – so love it), napping (the only way I can relax) and jammies. Tomorrow? Going to see Santa.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a card and some links. Oh! And if you want a chance to win a copy of 101 Things to Do With Your Scrapbook Supplies, click HERE. There is also an interview I did with The Paperlife. Talked about letting go of the pressure of creating and having fun.

Now? A card…

Did this one for the Alterations booth at CHA. Lots of Distress Inks, Memento Markers, Hero Arts stamps and the Ornamental die…

Alterations 2

Just colored right onto the rubber of the stamp with various Memento Markers (the best for stamping with), misted with water and stamped on watercolor paper. (You can use regular – just wanted the texture here.)  For supplies, check out the links below.

And now for some vacation-day links for you:

One last thing: The new Vagabond – the Tim Holtz die cut machine from Sizzix that cuts like a monster through everything – is now available. And HERE is a great deal on one!

OK… off to relax again. Night.

  5. If you like Clarks–then you need to try Merrell. SOOOOOOOOOOO much more comfortable. and I know too many people that have trouble with clarks coming unstitched–hasn’t happened to any of mine but I don’t buy them anymore because of it.

Hope you are enjoying some great family time!

  6. Those Clarks, really, the only shoes I wear. How about a photo of your Christmas tree? I love to see how people decorate their’s.

  7. Thank you so much for link to Ali Edwards December daily. I am so busy at work and December is next week, but I am going to do a simpler version of Ali’s Dec daily because my two boys are a little clued in on the whole Christmas excitement. I do want to capture everything. I live in Scotland and it started snowing today! and it is not even Dec yet. So lots of snow fun as my 5-year old, Aiden just loves snow. Love your blog. You are the reason that I own every single TH distress ink…and love using them in most of my creations. Thanks…wish I was a full time crafter but my full time job is quite demanding. However, I do savour my few hours in the weekend that I dedicate to craft, which I share with my son, Aiden. He gets to spend a couple of hours each weekend in my craft room.

  8. Love the card and tks for all the links… there is so much creativity in the world love for it to spread and make it a wonderful place to live in. Love the boots!

  10. Visited all the links. Want to make one of the Christmas Journals, too. Mine will be simple. Have you tried the new Vagabond? I only wear Clarks, too. They really fit my wide foot. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving. Really enjoyed the interview with Paperlife. Will definitely have to purchase that issue. Happy shopping! Love this time of the year.

  11. Beautiful card. Love the links. So much talent out there it is nice of you to point them out. I hope you had a wonderful holiday with the fam and are getting excited for Christmas. Best Wishes. Cindy

  12. Gorgeous Card! I love hearing about all your favorites–It’s nice when someone else (with great taste) can do the web surfing for me! Enjoy your jammies–I love living in mine when I have no reason to leave the house. My husband refers to them as my “uniform”. 🙂

  13. Thankful for you, Jennifer. After watching all the thinking inking videos I went out and purchased almost everything you used in the videos. If you need a testimonial for Hero Arts or Ranger…I’ve got you covered. Truly, thank you for the creative inspiration and your sweet presentation. (I’m not sure my husband will be as thankful when he sees all the stuff! :))
