A fantastic giveaway…

Hi!

The sweet Shimelle said I could give away a spot to her newest class.

This class, called "Love Your Pictures, Love Your Pages" is exactly the type of class I need. It is a unique photography class – focusing on taking creative and inspiring photos, without the technical stuff.  Sound so fun!

And if you have never taken a class from Shimelle, I highly recommend it.  In fact, I just got an email from a sweet blog reader saying…

"Just wanted to thank you for letting me know about Shimelle and her great classes. She is a breath of fresh air, fun, sparkles & delight. I took one class a few months ago & have now signed up for another that begins 7/5 that's about photography. Without you, Jennifer I would have never know about Shimelle so heartfelt thanks to you!"

The class starts on Monday.  And, I get to pick a winner before that.  Just leave a comment here by Sunday at 11:59pmEST letting me know of a movie you have loved lately.  I will pick a winner of a spot in Shimelle's class!

Happy crafting..

  12. To me there is nothing better in the summer than rewatching the old ones I have always loved. For me – old musicals. Recently it was Singing in the Rain, The Bandwagon, Summer Stock and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

    So much fun!

  15. it wasn’t super recent, but we got “How to Eat Fried Worms” from Netflix to watch with our 6 and 3.5 year old. I think my husband and I laughed harder than they did. We are really enjoying being able to introduce our oldest daughter to some of the books and movies we loved as kids ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Oh my goodness Shimelle is the best I love her classes – I am avide at getting others to scrapbook and struggle to have photos to scrap myself other than my dog – I need help:) I am a romantic at heart – recently I found Gone with the wind on the tele whilst scanning – could I draw myself away – No! What a classic

  17. sincewe are in the middle of a weekend of john wayne movies, that is what we have been watching. no special one because dh likes them all no matter how many times we have seen it.

  18. the old john wayne movies are on now and it doesn’t matter what we watch they are all good. my dear husband will watch them over and over again. i am a little more picky because i don’t like war stories. w2hen the war stories are on, i play on the computer and listen to them.

i try to take pictures of flowers and it would be great to take a class to improve my techniques.

  19. We just watched Toy Story 3! Very good and hate to admit that I cried…great ending! We (hubby & me) also watched The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and laughed so hard!!

  20. Yesterday, the hubby and I had date night which included the movie, Grown Ups. Talk about hilarious; great movie. Just for a little while, it took my mind off my troubles.

  21. I don’t watch movies hardly at all so don’t even know what is showing. This would be great to win – bet I could learn alot.

  22. Last night hubby and I watch a new fun “date night” movie that we really enjoyed. It is called 39 Steps. An action – packed, mystery with a touch of tasteful romance. I think it’s actually a recent BBC remake of an old Hitchcock flick – we loved it!

  23. Love the look of Shimelle’s class!!! Would love to be a part of it – I could do with some inspiration!!! I saw Twilight Eclipse last night!!! It was every bit as good as I had hoped!!! Also saw Shrek last week with my daughter. She loved it and I think it was the best of the 4 movies. Definitely recommend it!

  25. I am back to visit my parents in Latvia and I love to see all good Latvian movies. Seems I missed that a lot ๐Ÿ™‚

  26. Looks like a great class, and just the little burst of inspiration I need right now. Loved Letters to Juliet. Very cute movie

  27. Just saw Toy Story 3 with my 4-1/2y.o. daughter. It is her very first time to watch a movie (and it’s in 3D, at that). We all had a great time. But it was especially funny to see her waving her arms in front of her. When asked what she was doing, she said: “I thought I was in the room.I wanted to give Woody a hug.” LOL

  28. This would be the perfect class for me! I love to scrapbook, but don’t seem to take enough pics to keep up with them. I need some inspiration!! Thanks for the chance to win.

  29. WOW! i just read through the class description and it sound soooo awesome. i have been watching tons of movies because my hubby just came back from a training where he was disconnected from everything. we just watched 180 degrees south and it was awesome. it’s made by Jack Johnson and it’s about some surfer-mountain climbers going on a quest to conquer a mountain. it’s a great movie for environment conscious people and i think that they learned to “Enjoy the Journey” to quote one of my favorite stamps. ;o)

  30. I just rented “The Blind Side” this weekend. Loved it! Sandra Bullock is amazing! I also love the idea of a photography class.

  31. I would LOVE to win this class! I just watched a really cute movie. I always loved the old Sinbad type movies with lots of mythology monsters. We saw “Percy Jackson and the Olympians – the Lightening thief” Really cute — Harry Potter meets Sinbad with a little bit of Superman thrown in. Fun movie for kids too!

  32. I recently watched “PS I Love You”. Very sweet movie and who doesn’t LOVE Gerrard Butler??!!

  33. The most recent movie I saw with my husband was “The Town” with Ben Afleck. Poor Ben does not get the girl at the end, but it was a good movie with bank robbers and love story! Something for my husband, something for me:) I would love to win this class. I just listened to Shimelle’s audio on why she scrapbooks! She is an awesome GIRL! Reminds me of my daughter! Love her voice! She is an inspiration!!!!
    Thanks!
