  1. My Mother’s Day plans are pretty simple. We went to church this morning, grabbed a quick lunch, then spent time together at home. There’s nothing like family time on Mother’s Day! Thanks for the giveaways.

  2. I called my mom today. My boys took me to Coldstone for ice cream after supper. Love being a mom; it’s the best part of Mother’s Day for me! Thanks for sharing and the inspiration on your blog!

  3. Today I got to sleep in late which is a treat for me as I am almost always up by 7am on the weekends and 5:30am during the week. My son got me a really nice card and treated me to pizza for dinner (he’s only 16) after get got out of work. Then we went to my parents house to spend some time with My Mom : ). Over all a very nice Mother’s day!!!

    CARDS FOR OTHER PEOPLE WHICH I JUST LOVE TO DO IT KEEPS MY MIND OFF THE PAIN. I JUST FINISHED A BUNCH OF
    SPRING CARDS, AND I HAVE A LOT OF BIRTHDAY CARDS I MUST MAKE FOR MAY. SO I’M HAPPY MAKING CARDS TODAY.

  6. Celebrated Mother’s Day on Sat. with my sweet Hubby and 3 adorable children. Went out for breakfast, than to an arts & crafts fair, than shopping! Went to Sun. morning service and got to relax for the rest of the day! Very relaxing weekend. Happy Mother’s Day!

  7. We were going to bet together with my siblings and parents for a picnic in the park, but since the weather is bad, we took our potluck indoors and met in my sister’s tearoom. She isn’t open on the weekend. It was fun and after we ate, the grandkids baked cupcakes with Grammie in the kitchen.

  8. Just traveled back from a wedding in Lake Tahoe. My 26 year old son went with us so it was a great time together. With adult children who live far away, it is always a special treat to see one of them on Mother’s Day.

Mom’s day plans included: camping at Grover Hot Springs with hiking, biking and hot springs with my 3 and 4 year old, husband made and fabulous dinner and then he and the kids cleaned up the kitchen. My mother-in-law also joined us for dinner. I agree with you Jennifer, my mother-in-law is awesome too and I’m very happy to be able to say that. Happy Mom’s Day to you.

  11. I am an embossing folder addict. I have Cuttlebug, some Sizzix and some Quickutz. It is a rare card that does not pass through my Big Shot with and embossing folder detail. I just never tire of them.

  12. Luv these and cannot get them near me to try! Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, she’s 4 hours away and getting older, I mailed her a card telling her I love her always and forever and spoke to her today.

  13. ooooops. forgot to mention that My Sis-in-Law hosts a family dinner for all the Moms. It is a family tradition we all appreciate. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that my two “baby” girls are now Mommies too.

  14. I don’t know it it’s still Mother’s Day where you are, but ours is still coming up. Last day in May here in Sweden! I love Mother’s Day. My plan is to send my mother and MIL beautiful cards. As for myself, I just plan on getting spoiled! 🙂
