Paper Crafts Blog Hop!
Paper Crafts magazine recently released their latest awesome special issue called "Go-to Sketches."
The remarkably talented Kim Hughes asked me to play along in a blog hop with four other fab designers using a fun sketch from this special issue. You can start the blog hop HERE at the Paper Crafts Connection blog. To make it even better, three winners will be randomly chosen to receive a copy of Go-to Sketches! Just leave comments on as many of the participating blogs as you can by the end of Thursday, as each comment increases your chances of winning.
Here is the sketch I was asked to use…
Well, my card isn't a purse. It is actually a house. Here is my train of thought from one to the other: When I saw this sketch, I thought of some new trim I have been wanting to use. Then I thought the trim would be great on the bottom of a roof. Then I thought the flower would be fun on a roof. And before I knew it, I had a house inspired by the sketch. I love that you don't have to follow sketches exactly and instead can just use them as a starting point…
Supplies: Hero Arts notecards, Brown chalk ink, pearls/gems and stamps ; Prima flowers; Silhouette die cut bird; handcut grass; EK Success circle punches; trim.
Here are some of Kim's friends she asked to play along. Be sure to visit each site – wow – such talent there!
And all of the great Paper Crafts Go-to Gals are playing along as well. Be sure to visit their blog to check out what they and their 5 friends have created using one of their sketches. Wow. So much good stuff.
Thanks for stopping by! Have fun with the hop. Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win here and along the way.
