Cards Set Gifts

Happy Friday.  🙂

I have received a lot of emails lately about the cards sets that I said I was doing for Colin's teachers.  I did several sets (although they are all pretty similar), so I will start with one today.

This was for Colin's Spanish teacher.  (Yes.  He is 3.  And takes Spanish.  I love Montessoris.)  I followed a lot of the tips I gave for quick coloring in THIS post and video.  I really enjoy doing this…

010810 Card Set1
010810 Card Set 2 Supplies: Hero Arts butterfly, greeting and notecards; Copic Markers; Glitter Pen; Sizzix, Cuttlebug and Quickutz Embossing Folders

A few people had questions about my butterflies.  Yep… I do cheat and amputate my butterflies and draw their antennae back in.  :)  Also, many asked how I boxed these to give as gifts.  I will share a photo of another set in a box later, but I just use clear boxes with a big silk ribbon.

Well, I am heading off to watch The Illusionist.  But before I go, you gotta check out Kristina's great new venture.  She and Crystal are doing adorable blog designs.  They are inexpensive, fun and easy to do.  You can see them HERE.  Everything is included… all the pieces you need.  My faves?  THIS and THIS and THIS.

OK… have a fab night!

I just love these! Not to difficult and looks like a time saver to do. I always end up making cards that have loads of detail but takes me forever to complete. These are great reminders of how simplier cards can be made but still look amazing. Thanks so much for always showing us what it is your up to and for always being so faithful in your blogging. Happy New Year to you and all the best in 2010!

Love it Jennifer, I am not a ‘cardie’ as such, but use your great ideas in my scrapbooking pages, thanks for the inspiration. Was interested in the blog design link, but so sad to see they only are able to design for Blogger, and not for those of us with typepad. 🙁 🙁

    Take care out there.

Your pic wasn’t “signed” so I couldn’t link to your blog – but a friend told me today that it’s YOU so I’m updating my blog to show where the original idea came from.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful work!

I know this is an old post… I happened upon it through Pinterest. I followed the link in the post that was supposed to take me to a post that had tips for easy coloring and a video, but the post was about cards made for card drives. If you get this, I’d love to read your post about easy coloring and see the video if it is still available. Thanks!!!!
