Week 8… Three Videos

Just catching up on Thinking Inking.  🙂

Week 8 was on one of the greatest products of all time – Perfect Pearls.  Perfect Pearls are the best because they set with water – no need for fixatives.  Here is Part 1…

  1. Hi Jennifer,
Late replying to your blog from a few days ago…we were on vacation…if you have questions about t-ball feel free to send me an email.

We live in the Cincinnati area too (Loveland).

  2. total random question. If you don’t have a stamp of a thought bubble, what’s your best next go to item?

  3. Hi Jennifer, firstly just wanted to say thank you for a fab 9 weeks over at 2Peas. I have learnt so much!

I have a couple of questions. I hope you don’t mind me asking them here. I did post on the boards there but I guess they can get lost with all the other comments.

At the beginning of Week 9, Part 1 you said that the technique (crayon resist) could be done on glossy paper. Was that with disress inks and foam apllicator on glossy paper? Also, was it just crayon resist or the other 2 techniques shown as well?

In Week 8, Part 2 when you used distress inks on a tag and then did background stamping and spraying or splotching, is it best to do the stamping before or after the spraying or splotching with liquid pearls?

Lastly, in the 3rd part of the alcohol ink (Week 5 I think), where are those white/cream text flowers from?

Once again, thanks so much and I hope it won’t be long before do do more on-line classes.

  4. Just following the basic instructions on the packaging for Perfect Pearls, I wasn’t so excited. But trust Jennifer to come up with some videos to open up the whole world of Perfect Pearls! Thanks!!

  5. Jennifer

I want to extend my deepest appreciation for all your time and talent making the 9 weeks of videos. I will miss looking forward them three times a week. All great things come to a end. I am sure you need to take a rest.

Again, many thanks. I feel I have a greater undstanding of stamping and supplies.

  6. Hi Jen!
I’m so glad I got to see these videos. I have a layout I’ve been working on that these techniques will be perfect for. I couldn’t think of what to do with it. I had bought the perfect pearls a while ago at Jo-Anns and never really knew how to use them.

    Great job.

  12. Hello,
I love your videos. I have a question about fixatives. I’ve seen in 2 is your videos when you don’t need them. Can you tell me what your favorite fixatives are and what products you like them for?
    Thank you,
    Susie
