I always fear…

… that I am going to post a card here more than once, forgetting that I shared it already.  :)  I have a ton of cards in files on my computer just sitting there.  I try to share them all, but forget what I share.  I need to come up with a system for that.

Anyway… this is one from a few months ago – a class I did.

OH – by the way – I have a class coming up this Thursday, the 13th, at Stamp Your Art Out.  Not sure if there are openings, but you are welcome to call at 513.793.4558.  It will be a fun, new class.  Not sure what we will be doing yet – ha – but I promise to squeeze in as much fun as possible. 🙂

OK… back to the card.  This one has a hole punched in the front to create a window.  The embellishments (stamped greeting and buttons) are actually inside the card.  And if you don't have that scallop circle stamp, go grab it HERE.  It is a must-have. 🙂

021609 Class 1Supplies: Hero Arts stamps (scallop, script, "hi", flower), Hero Arts gems and buttons, Creative Impressions ribbon, Chalk Ink Queue, Martha Stewart border punch.

A few random things.  First, if you are interested in the stamps or such on one of my cards, I usually put the supplies right under the image – links and all – in the small print.  If I don't, feel free to email me – it just means I was feeling a bit lazy that night. 🙂

Another thing – Twitter.  Yes, I started Twittering after much resistance.  I like it much better than Facebook (which is overwhelming, although I use it)… it is just a fun way to share things I find.  Twitter is simple.  SIMPLE and fun.  You can sign up and follow whoever.  If you don't want to sign up, you can click on my Twitter information on the sidebar and see my tweets – which share links of cards and pages I find that I like.  I am having fun with it!  You can find me HERE.

Thanks for stopping by.  And to all you mommas out there – hope tomorrow is wonderful…

Night

  3. What a beautiful card. I love the idea of the circle being punched out ot the scallop. think i might have to try that. I spent a lovely hour yesterday at our local art shop looking for Gamsol (at your recommendation) only to find we can’t get it here in the UK so I got some Sansodor and some coloursoft pencils 🙂 have had a great time colouring and blending. thank you for your great vidoes on Youtube !!!!

  4. where is stamp your art out located – what city? i always watch your page and recently moved to columbus and think i may be close to you. i would love to come to a class…

  5. Lovely card! I know what you mean about worrying if you’ve already posted something, considering the TONS of cards we make throughout a year’s time. . . Sometimes, I think it’s fun to just repeat a particularly good one that you posted a while back, just because there are so many who may be newer to your blog and may not have seen it way back when you originally shared it?! I dunno.

Anyhoo, I also agree with you re: Twitter! I love it. I’m laffin’ that you finally broke down to get on FB; I succumbed to peer pressure . . . but, I still can’t find love for it, altho I do try to pop into it every now and then. I just wish it weren’t so “tedious” and “overwhelming” all the time . . . I need less tedium in my life! LOL!

  6. That card is so pretty, I think my favorite of yours that I’ve seen! 🙂
Hope your Mother’s Day has been wonderful 🙂

  7. Hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day!

As far as figuring out what cards you have shared and which ones you haven’t…you could have a folder for all of your cards…and a folder within that one that is called ‘Already Shared’ or something…and you could just move them into that folder when you’ve shared them…

That’s what I do for the LOs and such that I have posted online at 2Ps. It helps me keep things straight!

    Have a wonderful week 🙂
