Sundays are the best

How about some fun links?  Here we go…

  • HERE is a fun link for you over on Creating Keepsakes' site.  It is a quiz that tells you what kind of organizer you are.  It is actually quite fun, and you can see who else out there is like you.
  • Mary Macaskill is one of my favorite scrappers.  I love how she does such clean pages, but in such a creative way.  Check out THIS one and THIS one.  Wow.
  • Great embossed chipboard technique discussion HERE.
  • HERE are some great shaped card winners over on the Hero Arts blog.  Great ideas.  Wow.
  • And just some great projects I saw over on Flickr: HERE, HERE and HERE.
  • Julie has the most adorable card HERE.

Another share from me.  Here are some cards I did for 2peas.  I cut up some lace paper from SEI to make the trim.  To give the trim dimension, I tucked pop dots under it to pop it up.  Click HERE for more info.

Thanks for your tips on money-savings and life-organizing.  I have a compiled list I will share soon.

Hope you all had a good weekend.  Colin and I are enjoying time at my in-laws.  I am really blessed to have them.

Take care!

  1. I love Sundays when we can go to our own church like we were able to do this morning!!! Then I got in some creating – can’t beat that! I so love that flourish and I’m thinking I probably wouldn’t have used it with the theme you used but I love it!

  2. Ahhhh, winter cards! Love them, and how fitting since it just snowed another 5 inches here! GRRRRR….I thought we were done with winter! Thanks for the shout-out, girl! Hope you are having a nice visit with your in-laws! 🙂

  3. Why oh why are the little HA pearls and blings so hard

  4. Thanks for all the links. There’s some lovely stuff out there. Hope that you are managing to rest whilst away from home.
I’m looking forward to hearing all the tips. I’ve just started reading ‘The Busy Christian’s Guide to Busyness’ by Tim Chester. I think I’m going to be challenged to think about my motivations for being so busy. Am I seeking to serve God and glorify him, or am I looking for the approval of others, in a world which tends to judge our value on how busy we are? Do I over-commit myself because I tend to think that God can’t manage without me, rather than remembering that I can’t manage without him? God needs to do some real heart-work in me on this issue.

  5. Jennifer

I took the test and I am Uber Good Enough.

Great layouts and projects! Also love the embossed brown tree trunk. Might be fun to also use on birds, bears, and bunnies.

    Thanks
