Did you know…

… that there is a fabulous group of artists who participate in a Hero Arts flickr group? And there are THOUSANDS of great cards and pages?

They do the Hero Blog challenges (big prizes each week – even for scrapbook pages – go look) and so much more.

I was just surfing through there today and found some fab ones.  Wanna see?  Here they are…

  • Can you say super adorable?  Ashley M's fun card HERE.
  • So elegant.. THIS one by Susan.
  • What a fun idea HERE from Heather Ruwe!
  • OH MY!  Look at THIS from houten2!
  • I always am drawn to Jenn Biederman's work – THIS is great.
  • Donna Mikasa is one of my favorite stampers.  Go look at her stuff – THIS is cute!
  • And one of the best cards I have seen in ages is THIS one by Kelly Rasmussen.
  • PaperGirl is a great scrapbooker and card maker – HERE.

Oh!  And wanna see one of my new fave stampers?  Kiara Lee is her name and THIS is her blog.  She is fantastic.  And it turns out she is sweet, too.  Gotta love that!

(If you were one of these people and want me to post your full name, just email me. 🙂

Turning gears here…

I LOVE stamping with chalk ink and Memories White Ink on kraft notecards.  Then add some color with colored pencils… yum.  Looks so yummy in real life.

Take care!

  1. Cute page and cards!!! I always love looking at your examples and wonderful ideas.

I have a question for you – does Hero Arts make any days of the week stamps? I’m looking for some for my do-it-myself version of the Project 365. There are a couple that I’ve found online (one that’s Autumn Leaves and one that’s Scenic Route) but neither of those are really my style. Just wondering if you know of any other days-of-the-week stamps… Thanks!

  2. I know you are one busy chiquita, but, if you have a spare minute, I would love to know if you consider Memories White to be on the fast dry side, or more like pigment inks that might require heat setting to speed things up? Your cards are just beautiful and I loved the one on kraft especially!
