Happy Birthday… and giveaway

Untitled-1

… to three of the most important people in my life.

My mom.
Ken's mom.
Christ.

I love this day.  I love them so much.

Yep, my mom and Ken's mom were both born on Christmas Eve.  Between the three of them, we will be eating a lot of birthday cake. čÖé

And, in honor of their birthday, how about another giveaway?  Just leave a comment here by Saturday at 11:59pmEDT with a birthday message for my mom and ken's mom.  :)  I will pick a winner of this goodness – my favorite October Afternoon stamp set…

Prize

(Oh… the winner of the punch is Grace C!  I will email you.)

And, if you are a fellow believer, here is a fun read.  I just love how it ends.  So very true.  I got it from a drive thru nativity near my house.

And, some good news.  Remember me telling you about Keegan?  He was able to come home from the hospital for Christmas.  First time home in 72 days. He isn't out of the woods, but what a blessing it will be for the holiday to be home.  Keep praying, please.  Bless his little heart.  Here he is for Christmas…

Happy 24th!  I will post again soon.

  16. Happy Birthday, Moms.
    I too am a December baby – the 22nd.
Even tho 3 days before Christmas, my mom always made my birthday a separate event…no birthday gifts in Christmas wrap or the ‘twofer’ – one gift for both. Nope. There was always a pile of birthday gifts in birthday paper and a birthday cake. My mother has been gone a long time, sadly, and birthdays and Christmas have never been the same. You all are so lucky to have each other.

  17. Happy Birthday to your Moms! Talk about lots of birthday cake on top of all the other Christmas goodies! Can you say moderation?

Merry Christmas and thanks for having such an inspiring site. It keeps me checking in everyday!

  18. Awesome to be celebrating the birthdays of two such important family members in your life on the same day. Merry Christmas!! All the best for 2009!

  19. Happy birthday to all the three of them, but above all to MUMS…how lucky you are to celebrate your mum’s birthday!

  20. Hi Jennifer,
Been fun following you thru the last several months. You certainly have quite a gift for doing your blog. Thanks so much for all you share – talents, family and Lord.
I especially enjoy reading others responses and have found some great finds among them.
Here’s hoping that the birthday of your moms’ was a wonderful celebration.
And for everyone, I hope that they found the Christmas celebration exciting and meaningful. Merry Christmas Jennifer and a Blessed New Year.

  21. Happiest birthday, Moms! You’ve obviously done a wonderful job in raising your children. Now enjoy the celebration of YOU. I hope this is your best year yet, and that next year is even better!

    Warm regards,
    Nancy in Indiana
