Happy Monday… with a yummy giveaway…

Hope everyone is well!

I have a winner of the BasicGrey stamp set.  The lucky one is… Michelle Jadaa!  I will email you.

Thanks for all your ideas.  I will share some over the next few weeks.

I am off to California tomorrow for some meetings at Hero Arts.  Can't wait to see my Hero girls there – I have been missing them.  Just a quick post for tonight.

Quick share.  This was from a class a few weeks ago.  To do those snowflakes, I stamped with Versamark ink on vellum.  Then I traced over the stamped images with an dry embossing tool.  I then added it to the card upside down, so the raised area is up.  (If you want to see a video showing this technique, click HERE.)  The trees are stamped on the card behind the vellum in blue – looks like faraway trees.  This card is small – 4.25"x2.5"

Mini 3
All Hero Arts products.

And a giveaway!  Woohoo.  I love doing this. :)  I have two of these yummy sets from Making Memories – want to give one away.  Here's your chance… just leave a comment on this post by Tuesday at 11:59pmEDT telling me if you are a scrapbooker, cardmaker or both.  Here is the great Making Memories set…

I will be posting from CA, including more scraproom stuff.  See ya soon!

  1. I’m mostly a scrapbooker for my 4 beautiful grandchildren…but I also make cards every now and then! I love your artistic talent!

  2. OOoh, love this stamp set, just thought about buying it yesterday! Thanks for the giveaway! I am mainly a cardmaker because it is easier for me, but I do scrap, and more importantly, buy scrapping products, too!

  3. Both. I started out as a scrapbooker but then I had all these amazing supplies I was inspired to do more with them. I try to make a couple cards when I finish a scrapbook page because I already have matching supplies out. I also make cards when I need a creative boost because it doesn’t have the time commitment of a page.

  4. I love your card! I am a scrapbooker first, cardmaker second….stamping gets thrown in there as much as I can – I wish I was more creative with that part though! 🙂

  5. Love the snowflake card. I am a scrapper and stamper, which is why I appreciate your work so much. Love your ideas – they inspire me!

  6. Hi! (waving hand furiously).
I’m both a scrapbooker AND cardmaker. But w/ cardmaking..let’s just say I started making cards because of my serious stash of patterned paper! I’m nowhere near the level of detail you’re at w/ your beautiful cards. I feel like my cards are more “homemade” than “handmade” quality. *sigh* That’s why it’s such an inspiration to come peek at your blog everyday! 🙂

  7. I love to scrapbook first and foremost, but have been into making a few cards here and there…especially for Christmas!

  8. Emphatically I am BOTH! The two work together for me in such a great way, I could never decide which I liked more. :o) I keep my scraps from my scrapbook layouts and many times I’m able to incorporate them into a card design. The possibilities are endless! Thanks for the chance to win an awesome giveaway. Have a nice trip to CA.

  9. Holla….from a Cali Girl!

I’m both a scrapbooker and cardmaker. I like getting my hands dirty and making stuff.

Hope you have a fun and safe trip 🙂

  10. I am a cardmaker. I’ve done a little scrapbooking, but just don’t have time to do it all. Have fun in CA. I really enjoy your sight. So upbeat…

  11. I started as a scrapbooker but I enjoy cardmaking now, too. And I love your blog, your cards, and your videos. Look forward to them everyday!

  12. Hi Jennifer, just got the post on this, hope it’s not tooo late, but if you are in California, then it’s not 11:59 there yet, so maybe I made it. I soooooooo love that card! Too cute!
Also, I am both a scrapbooker and cardmaker and I truly love them both, I couldn’t pick one over the other if I had to!
Have fun in CA with the Hero Arts girls, tell them they all do awesome work, and I love seeing all of ya’lls creativeness!
And one more thing, I’m in the middle of finishing up my new scraprooms so I’m anxious to see your video!!

  14. Hi Jennifer! I love to do both…they seem so closely intertwined. I just wish I had lots more time to do them both.

  15. I’m more of a cardmaker…I just dipped my hand in scrap booking!
Haven’t found the time to indulge in anything lately.

  16. I am a card maker, and I am always inspired by all of the work you Hero Arts’ gals do! Hope you all have a lot of fun together this week. Have a safe flight back:)

  17. I am both. I do a lot of scrapbooking now but first started out making cards. I am back into making a lot of cards now along with pages. So fun!

  18. Thank-you for all your posts with great cards and great ideas and of course great giveaways! I’m both a scrapbooker and a card maker.

  19. I’m a scrapbooker down to my core but I love making cards as well… When Life is just too darn busy and I haven’t been able to scrap, I turn to cards for a quick creative outlet. Uhh, I’ve been making alot more cards than layouts recently! I also love to case my card fronts and turn them into title blocks for my layouts! Love your blog and all your ideas. Thanks so much for all your inspiration! You sure got style 😉
