Lots to share… and giveaway…

Hi!

Where did the weekend go?  Wow.

A few things to share today, and a giveaway…

First, here are some cards I made with a fabulous kit a friend sent me.  I met a sweet gal named Jamie through the internet awhile back.  And she recently started a fun kit club and sent me one.  Please check it out – it is very different than anything I have seen, not too expensive and has stuff not in stores.  I had such fun with it.  For more info, click HERE.

Do you like that kit?  Good!  I have one to give away!  Just leave a comment here by Monday night at 11:59pmEDT telling me what you or your kids were for Halloween and I will pick a random winner of this Jamie Scraps kit…

You will love it.  The colors (pink, orange and dark brown) are yummy…

Oh, and my little dude was Spiderman.  (The girls were at their mom's, but Audrey was a graveyard fairy and Kay was a vampire. 🙂

Halloween

I also wanna link you all to my friend's new etsy shop.  Ginger has some cutie hats in her shop HERE… I already have bought one for Audrey.  This one is so fun – uses a Hero Arts stamp that has been stitched!  So fun…

Here is a fun link for you.  When I saw the third place winner of the Hero Arts blog contest, I fell in love and decided I wanted to contact the person and ask if I could link it on my blog.  I didn't recognize the username and it turns out to be my friend Sandi Neumann!  Don't you LOVE how she decorated her daughter's room with Hero stamps?  Fantastic…

I think that is all.  I have lots to share this week.  And, since I cleared out some of my unused clear stamps, I will have some things to giveaway, too.  So stop back. :)  Off to watch some mindless TV!

I just love how you uses this kit. The colors pop together. The embossing is the perfect touch to this set of papers and cards. Great Job!!!

I love how Ginger used the HA owl on this hat. Wonderful idea to use this stamp to sew a design on with.

Thanks for showing my daughters room. She enjoys how it looks and is still keeping it clean. It is a joy using HA stamps to make her room happy for her.

We went to a Halloween block party. Both before and after Trick or Treating. It was a great time sitting around the fire pit with hot cocoa talking with our neighbors. All the while the children running around in their costumes and playing hide and seek.

Colin is just so cute in his costume. I bet you have a bunch of wonderful photos.

    Thanks

Colin is adorable as spiderman!!!My oldest son wanted to be spiderman, but his kindergarten class had a community helper Halloween party and I bought him a firefighter costume. He thought it was pretty cool when people said how authentic he looked. My 3 1/2 year old daughter was a beautiful fairy and my youngest son(16months) was a dalmation. My oldest thought that was neat since every fireman should have a dalmation!
The cards you made are beautiful–I love the color combination!

  40. Amy says:

My daughter was Yoda from Star Wars. We found the costume (completely made out of fleece) in a clearance bin a couple of years ago for $1.75. With a price like that, we couldn’t pass it up!

  41. Cindy S says:

Cute kit! My daughter was Snow White and my son was a bat.

  42. Michelle T. says:

Darth Vader, Luke, and Boxman (yeah he made it up at the last minute). Colin is adorable!

  43. Noel Thomas says:

My daughter dressed up as Sarah Palin. I’m not a republican but when she got her glasses a few weeks back we knew it would be the perfect costume for her. She wore a red button up jacket with matching skirt, american flag pin, and her hair up. She even brought a pen with her incase anyone wanted an autograph! LOL A few people did ask for it.

  44. Debbie Lucero says:

Let’s see…my 3 ds’s dressed as scary, creepy monster, Frankenstein, and then the ugly Scream character. Catchin’ the theme here? DD was a cute little devil girl complete with glittery eyelashes. That kit has my name all over it…those are MY colors!

  45. Sheri R says:

Colin makes an adorable little Spiderman…so cute!:)
Shailyn was Cinderella, and Justin was a Jail Bird. I tried bribing him to be Prince Charming, but not a chance. He had to be something “cool” LOL

  46. Lynsey says:

I was Cinderella this year. It was down to that or Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, but they only had Cinderella left. It was okay, though, because I have wanted to have a Cinderella costume for 20 YEARS!

The kids who came to my stand at the carnival loved it! Especially the kids who were dressed up as other Disney princesses — but none of them were Cinderella!

  47. Mindy says:

My 6 year old is all about Star Wars so he was Darth Vader (mosly homemade) and my 2 year old was R2D2 (also homemade but I had to make 2 because he wouldn’t wear the first one). I was Luky Skywalker. My older son told my husband he could be Chewbacca and he wouldn’t even need a costume, just had to take his shirt off. HeHeHe! DH didn’t dress up but the boys had a blast.

Cute kit! Not great for my boy-centered crafting but I know I could make some great cards for some girlfriends.

  48. I love pink and brown! Beautiful cards you did with the kit.

My little one was a Pirate girl and I dressed up as a Vampiress….hehehe! Had lots of fun (have pics on my blog).Your little one makes an adorable little Spiderman.

My 2 DDs were princesses (pink & purple). I dressed as a witch and my DH was a ‘daddy’. The day after Halloween, my youngest one told my hubby, ‘you need to take off your costume now, daddy, halloween is done!’.

  50. Jennifer G says:

One daughter was a “glamour witch” and the other was an angel. We had a great Halloween!
