Here are my tips fro the new Gina K Designs Intri-Cut Machine:
ALWAYS: Back of die against platform… cutting edge of die against paper and cutting plate.
Recommendations may vary based on cardstock and dies used. (I used Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb which is heavy.)
RECOMMENDED DIAL SETTINGS:
- For regular die cutting – Die Cut and 0
- For intricate/tricky die cutting – Die Cut and -3
- Embossing (aka making an impression or letterpress) with a die – use silicone mat between paper and platform – Letterpress/2D Emboss and 0 (or looser)
- Embossing (aka making an impression or letterpress) with a stencil – use silicone mat between paper and platform – Letterpress/2D Emboss and -1
- Regular/2D Embossing Folders – Letterpress/2D Emboss and 0
- Most 3D Embossing Folders – 3D Emboss and 0
- Thick 3D Embossing Folders (SSS) – 3D Emboss and -3 to -5 and skip cutting plate
- Betterpress – Letterpress/2D Emboss and 0
- Glimmer Foil Machine – Letterpress/2D Emboss and -3
