Thank you Jennifer for inspiring me to think out of the box. Sometimes even though I have the supplies, I need to look at your cards just for design ideas. I plan to order the Hero Arts pitch black cardstock because none of the black cardstock in the craft stores appear solid black.

  15. Cari says:

I really appreciate you explaining why you, and others, always choose Neena solar white card stock. I never understood the differences in card stock and why there were so many options. I do have a question. How important is it for your ink to match your card stock? I started card making through one of the many companies out there. Naturally, they wanted you to stay within their products – paper, ink, pens, etc. Now I want to buy supplies I like but I am caught trying to resolve how important is it to stay within the same company for paper and ink? I would appreciate your insight on my dilemma.

    Hi there,
Thank you for the information about paper. I’ve bought tons of paper thinking it would be a great thickness for a project only to find out it wasn’t – very frustrating! I wondered why paper could have the same weight but be so different and now I know what else to look for on the label to find out if it’s what I’m looking for. I’ve also been watching your Gel Press videos and I’m hooked on that technique!! So versatile and uniquely creative! Makes every card a one-of-a-kind, which I love, because everyone is unique and deserves a unique card. I look forward to learning more from you! Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us <3
    Have a wonderful day!
