Jennifer, your videos are a “never miss” in my book, I’ve shared many of them with my granddaughter who started making cards at age 9 with me. It is one of the best shared times we have. I always learn something and appreciate the time you put into sharing what you know. I already have some of “your favorites” and plan to add a few more now that I have the information. I gratefully appreciate your professionalism on your video, so many like to be “silly” or entertaining, you educate, that is much more valuable and your kind nature is still reflected, thank you.

  2. cecelia cole says:

Thank you for sharing your talents with us out here in cyberspace.

  3. diana says:

    Thanks for these great videos!
I need to invest in some ink blending brushes. 🙂

  4. Carmen McIntyre says:

I love the Tim Holtz trimmer. It is so sharp and cuts perfectly clean. I also love Altenew inks. they layer so well!

  5. Kirsty says:

Thanks for all the tips. I love the ink stand but they don’t ship to the UK, so I can’t have them

  6. Linda D Grant says:

I always like to see your crafty favorites. I have several of these favorites already, thanks to you! Thanks for sharing.

  7. Jan says:

I have the glass mat but I really think that waffle flower media met for the card not sliding everywhere would be a good purchase

  8. Erin Sorensen says:

Hi Jennifer. I love these videos. I think my favorite purchase was the Tim Holtz Tonic Glass Media Mat. I don’t ruin my table. It’s easy cleanup. I would have never have known about it if it wasn’t for your videos. Thank you!

  9. Anna Marie Price says:

I practically have all those tools, too. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but if I must choose one it is the Tim Holtz glass work surface. It’s easy to clean, has useful grids/sections and provides a smooth, nonstick surface to craft all my cards.

  10. CAROLE R SIMONETTI says:

I love these my favorites videos! Always do some buying after watching them Jennifer!

  11. Jeanne Murphy says:

I love the Waffle Flower Mat. It holds my paper in place and cleans up easily!

  12. great videos thanks a lot
My fav tool by far is the Misti. It has really changed the way I stamp!

  13. Roxanne Tellini says:

Holy smokes that We are Memory Keepers “The Works” is impressive. I was just pricing out stamping platform type tools and out of the blue, in a video about ink, is one I had never heard of before that also includes a score board, envelope maker, bone folder, tassel maker and more (all other things I am missing too). Not only that but it is a better price point than the Misti. Thank you for featuring this Jennifer. I will be buying this.

  14. Becky Reeder says:

Great information, especially about the Works tool and the improved wreath builder!

  15. Mel H says:

The Gina K Blender Brushes are must haves!

  16. Yilda Holmberg says:

Lots of great recommendations as usual! The Tim Holtz haberdashery scissors are my new favorite for fussy cutting. Also really love the glass media mat and his trimmer.

  17. Linda Smith says:

I love Lawn Fawn inks! They are to me the easiest to clean off stamps and stamp solid. For the tools, I have the Misti mini and original but I love the Tim Holtz stamping platform for my stamp press. I know you can’t get it anymore but I think it is a better tool. Thank you again for a great video and thank you for your honest opinion about these products.

  18. Julie L says:

I received the Waffleflower media mat as a gift in 2019. Love it. I took Kristina’s idea and cut the packaging to add clear plastic liners into the “wells.” My mat is still pristine b/c I clean it after every session. I also use my TH Tonic trimmer w/ every project. I have a scoring board that’s at least 12 years old and recently got a Tonic teflon folder that is a big improvement over my old bone folder. The other tool I use just about every day is my trusty Vagabond.

  19. Mary M says:

Great video…thanks for the clarification on the I-Crafter Ink Brushes….I thought they were just color coded “Expensive” sponge daubers…I’ll have to check though out. I also am very interested in the sticky mat. I like how it is see through and you can see the grid lines on the mouse pad. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the craft and industry.

  20. Noreen Patterson says:

Your recommendations are always useful and really make crafting fun. I am intrigued by the Waffleflower water color mat and hope to add one soon. Thanks for all your effort on these videos….they are much appreciated.

  21. Isabel Z says:

I couldn’t make do without my Misti! Thank you for taking the time to create these videos for I always learn about a new to me product.

  22. Nancy Wilcox says:

I can’t start a project without my glass media mat. Love it!

  23. First, I just want to say thank you Jennifer for doing this series again. I always enjoy watching this series and discovering new tools and suppliers. You really do a wonderful job and I love how you support the industry and suppliers – both big and small. My favorite new took has been the Kat Scrapiness Pick Up Tool. I have tried others but this one really works for me. Best purchase ever. Second runner up is the microfiber cloths – I love them for my craft area and for general cleaning – especially for all my electronic devices and computer screens – now that I am still working from home. Lastly, I have been able to find similar sanding blocks when searching Amazon or Ulta for nail buffing files. I love them. Also great for removing hard to clean marks off your painted walls without ruining the painted finish.

  24. Renee says:

    Definitely the Misti!

  25. Shannon Kasik says:

Love your Favorite Crafty Things videos!!! Please keep inspiring us and I will support you.

  26. Sweet Sarah says:

My MISTI seems to be the tool I reach for daily. I use blending tools often, but not as often as the MISTI (probably because i am straight line challenged!)

  27. Kelli Groves says:

Thank you so much for all of your hard work in producing and sharing your videos and for your blog posts, Jennifer! I started watching your videos about a year ago and have learned so much!!

  28. Michelle Urteaga says:

The Waffle Flower media mat is my favorite. Thanks for the great recommendations, as always!
    Michelle

  29. Sandy S. says:

I’d like to get some of the Altenew blender brushes. I’m not sure where I would keep them. Space is very tight! I was interested in your insistence on using different brushes for dye and pigment inks. I haven’t been.

  30. Diane Andersen says:

Has to be my sweet petunia stamp platform. Made stamping go from frustrating to fun fun tactic !!!

  31. mkornow says:

Thank you for such a thorough evaluation and recommendation video. I look forward to your My Favorite Crafty Things every year. Well, I should admit that when I say every year I really mean last year and this year. That’s because I didn’t start on this journey until January 2020. Lucky for me your MFCT videos were some of the first I found and they led me to most of my initial purchases and education.

I am a recovering geek (well, maybe not so much recovering as redirecting my geekness) so I always fall in love with clever and useful tools. As I said, thank you for these videos and all that you do to advance the card making craft.

  32. Alicia Bartel says:

I was introduced to the I craft stackable inkers. I love those especially since we get together with my sister and craft (now we do Zoom Friday nights) they are easier to transport. I’ve been wanting to try the sticky mats, so those will be next on my list. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos.

  33. momsnoozy3 says:

Ha!! Just figured out I’ve been using my scor buddy wrong! I love my Fishers titanium scissors and Misti. I’d love to get the Studio Katia triangle dish for all of my sequins and a sticky pad
. Thanks for all of the great info Jennifer!!!

  34. momsnoozy3 says:

  35. Deb Garvey says:

I consider my Tim Holtz glass media mat and trimmer essentials,uUsed every time I craft. I love that you are using the micro cloths more instead of baby wipes. Me too! I also appreciate that you are encouraging using products in many ways AND that you linked the videos to the products. Sometimes I need a reminder. Blessings for all you do.

  36. Brenda Boyd says:

Have the gel press on my wish list.

  37. LindseyL says:

Hands down the MISTI. I still remember exactly where I was when I read about this amazing tool. I don’t have the new version, but I am grateful for the one I have every single time I craft. And it even has made stamping more fun for my kiddos because they can get images to come out more clearly. My daughter has helped with her valentines since she was two or three because I could ink up the stamp and she could press it down. But your videos always open my eyes to new tools, and I appreciate them so much.

  38. Cathy Lavanchy says:

Hi, I love the misty and will definitively do your trick with the sticky mat 🙂 Thank you for that!

  39. Susan M. Riley says:

I love the ink brush stand what a nice way to keep them all in one place. thank you for the tips.

  40. Laurie Pickerel says:

I don’t think I could live without my Misti. I also love the Tim Holtz trimmer. Both are must-haves for me.

  41. Joanna says:

It has to be the MISTI for me. I’ve been stamping for years and the MISTI truly changed everything for the better!

  42. Renee Frazeur says:

I love that you incorporate everyday items in your crafting – press ‘n seal, binder clips, etc. Thanks for your inspiring videos!

  43. Anita says:

Thanks for all the great information you share. You make it so easy to find the products that are helpful to me.

  44. Debbi S says:

Thanks for another very informative video. I too have rediscovered
my gel press (had to dust it off!) so much fun creating lots of
    beautiful backgrounds.

  45. Cindy Faulkner says:

Love watching these favorite crafting tools, etc videos and hearing what you have to say about them. Showing examples of how to use different things and why you think they are great has gotten my interest and I’ve purchased quite a few of the things you have shown. Thank you for all the time you have spent putting these videos together.

  46. Terri W says:

I absolutely love my Tim Holtz Tonic Glass Media Mat. It makes blending ink a breeze.

  47. Becky L says:

My Misti is my all time favorite. I do think however, watching your video I may need to invest in a few more items that could also end up being right at the top of the list. Thank you for the information regarding blending brushes I’ve been trying to determine which to invest in and this was very helpful!

  48. RuthSimmons says:

First off, I love your videos. I’m hooked on Jennifer.

My favorite ink – Distress Oxide ink, although loving my Versafine Claire inks.
My new favorite tools – Spellbinder platinum machine, Tim Holtz travel and regular size glass mat, Marvy jewel picker.

  49. Patricia E Wilson says:

Always love to see what tools and inks the professionals use so that they get such great results. There are many items that you’ve used recently that I would like to purchase and am trying to do so. The stamping foam is nowhere to be found. Everyone must have loved that video. I sure did. Thank you for all you do!

  50. I have tried sooo many of the products you’ve recommended and they have all lived up to your praises! Thank you for all you do.
