It’s Here! The Black MISTI

Hello! I have been getting a lot of questions about the new Hero Arts MISTI Stamping Tool… and it is finally here!

Hero Arts has teamed up with My Sweet Petunia (the inventor of the MISTI) to bring us black MISTI products! These tools are just the like the current pink ones, but in a sleek black design with the Hero Arts logo added. I am so excited! (I used it in THIS video.) I love my pink MISTI but prefer the black, so I will be purchasing a couple of these!

This new line of MISTI products is now available. You can find them at Hero Arts HERE. (I am guessing they will sell fast.)

By the, I also have updated my Crafty Sales and Updates page with big sales, new releases, and much more. You can find it HERE.

I will be back with another video soon. Stay healthy!

  1. What is it that you like better about the black one? I have all three sizes. I followed your links and don’t find a detailed description to itentifiey what is different other than color between the black and the pink misti.

  2. I was just thinking about this today. Iโ€™ve wanted the regular size as I have the mini and I was waiting for the new black ones. I love the looks of it.

  3. Saying the new MISTI stamping tool is like saying ATM machine. It isn’t like they reinvented the wheel…it is the MISTI but black. Wow, big difference. Must run out and buy the new MISTI because it is now available in black? Don’t think so. Please start embedding your videos again so that people aren’t forced to click over to youtube to watch your videos; shady practice to try to generate more revenue.

    1. There is an error with youtube keeps me from being able to have it in my email. Many people have to make this change. it has NOTHING to do with revenue. In fact, it does not effect it. I am simply doing so people don’t get an error in my emails in place of the video… which was happening. It is a pain for me to do it this way – wish I didn’t need to.
As for the black MISTI – many people were excited about this as they didn’t like the pink. It makes some people happy. ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. I want a larger Misti and I would prefer the black too, so I am happy to read this. As for the embedded video, I prefer to watch it on youtube, so I can give it a thumbs up. I appreciate Jennifer as do most crafters I know. There are plenty of crafters who do charge for their video lessons. Jennifer shares freely.

  4. I refuse to buy the Misti products. As another comment said above, the prices are way too high for the product you receive. When the original Misti first came out I bought one on a weekend special price and also got the mini. This was before the prices went up. I personally knew of several users who had problems with the Misti and My Sweet Petunia refused to address the flaws. A local shop owner was going to carry them but MSP would not work with her for wholesale pricing. I have both of the Tim Holtz Stamping Platforms and find them far superior to the Misti products so have no intention of buying these. I know that you and other YouTubers can’t use the Stamping Platforms because of her law suit, but I still can and will continue to support a better product.

  5. Thank you Jennifer for all you do in keeping the crafting community up-to-date. I was gifted a mini misti by an American friend and it is lovely. It means so much more to me because of the scripture quote of 1 Peter 4;10. The reasons we make cards is to give and of course I was gifted this misti! I cannot afford to buy a full size MISTI but I can understand those with disposable incomes updating their products, especially if they use them a lot. The black one does lookelegant but what a shame there isn’t a scripture verse. However the end result is blessing someone with a card!

  6. I added (improved) my Misti by adding a handle to make it easier to open up the lid. I wish they would have improved the design too.

    1. the new version comes out in may.
however, many people wanted the current in black. and many companies are collaborating with hero arts this year in honor of their 45th. thus the black misti ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. I bought the TH platform for two reasons: the price was significantly cheaper and MSP seemed pretty aggressive and unkind in some posts and comments and I found that off-putting. But now, I’m not so happy with my TH platform because it seems warped and it is hard to get a clean image on larger stamps. I was excited to see Kristina Warner’s CHA video–in which she was REALLY excited__about the new misti, but if I’m gonna spend that kind of money, I have to get the upgraded one. I would rather have supported Hero Arts though. Any chance of the upgraded misti in black?

  8. Wow! I LOVE this. I am visually impaired and it would make seeing the numbers on the ruler so much easier for me, but I already have a MISTI and just can’t afford to buy yet another one. I’ll be envying (is that a word? LOL!) all the lucky people who can buy this black one!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Now if someone would just make a black paper trimmer so the ruler would be easier to read… is anyone listening????? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
