My Favorite Crafty Things 2019: CRAFTY TOOLS

Hello! Welcome back to My Favorite Crafty Things 2019! Today I am chatting about crafty tools.

Over the next several weeks, I will be sharing my favorite crafty products of 2019. Each post will have a different topic with a video. If you haven’t checked out THIS video, please do so – it explains how the series works.

I have lots to share, including big giveaways (see below) and even store discounts (some are exclusive!) from several of my favorite stores. I will be updating this list if more offers come in…

Let’s focus on crafty tools…

Please note that I purchased most of the products in this post personally, but not all. Regardless, the decision to include them in this list was my own. I truly like these products and companies and am not on any design teams. For more info, visit HERE. If you have questions, please email me.]

  3. Thank you Jennifer. I love your series on “My Favorite Crafty Things”. You continue to inspire so many people!

  4. Thanks for this video Jennifer. I was waiting to see this edition of tools since Tim Holtz came out with the travel glass mat. You are a great enabler and I love watching your videos.

  5. I am new to your wise videos!LOL You have such great insights and I look forward to watching your videos. Thank you for doing this series. There are SO many products out there, it’s nice to have someone knowledgeable to weed through it all. I would love to win this gift card so I can buy some of your recommendations 🙂

  6. Over the last few years of these wonderful year-end videos, I’ve acquired many of these tools, BUT I always learn something new every time you create one of these videsos! Thanks!!!

  7. I really need to get the hand vac. It would be soooo much easier than lugging out our big vacuum. I’m really messy especially when die cutting so the hand vac would be “handier”.
I’ve also been eyeing the glass mat. My work surface is fairly small so the travel size would be perfect.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share all these great products with us.

  8. I love your annual favorites videos! I get overwhelmed with all of the choices available and appreciate having a place to help narrow down the options. I really like that you explain why you like the items you tell us about.

  9. Jennifer, your blogs and videos are the best! I have been crafting for decades but never did cards until I started watching you and now cannot stop…thanks for your inspiration and please don’t stop!!

  10. You definitely have some great items on this list. Many I already have. Some are on order. I don’t have a Misty but do have the Tim Holtz stamping platform. I’m wondering what is better about the Misty?

  11. I have loved all the tools you’ve shared and many things have been added to my wishlist! Thank you for all this great info to!

  12. Again a great video, I have already a lot that you shared but there are always tools that go on my wish list.

  13. Thank you for your favorite things videos. I am just getting started in card making and these help me know what to add to my supplies. I really like the glass mat and think that will be my next investment. Appreciate the help.

  14. Thanks for creating these lists. I so appreciate your opinion and expertise.
All the best of the season to you and yours!

  15. I love your videos, and I am going to get that SSS transparency. I use the SU stamparatus, and the transparency will be a tremendous help lining up sentiments. It is out of stock at the moment, I will also use your recommendations in choosing the blending brushes. My wish list also has the Teflon bone folder on it, Jennifer you are a wee bit of an enabler! lol

  16. Another great “episode”! LOL Thank you for all you do, Jennifer. I have at least some of the tools you mentioned. One other I use a lot is the EK Success cross-lock tweezers. I like that they clamp so I don’t have to keep applying pressure to keep them closed. Hope y’all have a very Merry Christmas, and a great day in the meantime! 🙂 ~ Andrea

  17. Love to try new tools – some I continue to use
and some I feel like I’ve wasted my money.
thanks for the preview of tools. Saw a
couple I have to try. thanks for sharing

  18. Thank you for all of your great advice, Jennifer! I am relatively new to stamping, and I have learned so much from you.

  21. Greetings from Singapore. Thanking God for your kindness in sharing your gift and asking Him to bless you and your family! I really love all the amazing ideas and ways to make a card, and I am so thankful that you are sharing them. I have bought a lot from SSS with the things you recommended. My kids love the creative tool and the glitter fiskars scissors, I also got the other fiskars scissors with the spring that you recommended last year. I am still learning use to the AI stamp positioner properly…. I bought the wagner heat gun, without checking the voltage and I can’t use them in Singapore (need a voltage transformer that cost twice amount of the heat gun) so thank God I didn’t go ahead and buy the Royal Sovereign laminator! phew! 🙂 I found that I couldn’t get most of the things you recommended in Singapore though, esp the 110 lbs Neenah paper, so grateful that SSS and other stores ship to Singapore! Wishing you & your family a joyous Christmas & a blessed New Year! 🙂

  22. I love my mini Misti and my travel-size Tim Holtz stamp platforms. And I use the same Tim Holtz trimmer. Years ago I bought the big Fiskars trimmer with sliding rail that has a “lifelong” blade after seeing your video. . Unfortunately it doesn’t make a clean cut so I only use it on large pieces and then trim them down with the TH trimmer.

  23. Thanks for the product tips and suggestions for their use. This list would have been good to give my family for my Christmas present wish list. Best wishes for 2020!

  24. I really like watching you “Favorite Things” videos each year. Thanks for all the great ideas. There are so many items out there that it’s nice to see your recommendations.

  25. I love your “Favorite Things” videos. I respect your opinion on the items and the price points, which are very useful in helping me make decisions on purchasing some of the items. Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year!

  26. Thanks, Jennifer for this video series. I have quite a few tools already, but am ready to take my stamping to a new level with some of these gems!

  27. I wish I had had this valuable advice when I first started card making…it would’ve saved me so much money. Now, my biggest piece of advice to new crafters is “watch JM’s videos!”
