  5. My prayer: “May this vision, this concept, this expression of love catch fire and spread not only throughout the crafting industry, but throughout all businesses in the world … throughout every corner of the world … throughout all of our lives and in all of our lives. And let it begin with me.” Thank you, Jennifer; thank you Aaron; and thank you to all the members of the Stamping Village. May the Village grow and thrive in love and passion for creating. Big hugs to you, Jennifer. Videos like these give me hope and serve to open my heart a little bit more to the love that exists in the world.

  6. I just watched both videos and think they are both wonderful! It’s interesting hearing the background on stamp companies and small businesses. Thank you so much for sharing!

  7. It is so refreshing to hear about someone like Aaron. So many industries are cut-throat and competitive. I have always been delighted with Hero Arts products… creative, fair pricing, great quality. And knowing there is at least one Aaron out there makes me feel we have not totally lost our way.

  8. Jennifer
As a former stamp/card making instructor for a small local stamp store, which I did for 15 years, I was fortunate to attend CHA shows with the owner. I have watched this industry grow, and also watched as local stores have closed. I love this industry and the people I was fortunate enough to meet. Hero Arts was one of the first companies that I purchased stamps from and taught classes with, along with Art Impressions. I have learned much from Sheri Carroll, Bonnie (Art Impressions) and many of the other companies listed in the stamping village video. Thank You to all of you for the inspiration you gave me then, and the continued inspiration I get from following your blog and others, like Kristina Werner. You inspire me to continue to learn, create and share my love of stamping/card making with others. Thank You.

  9. Thank you for both videos—the collaborative efforts of such fine companies is heartwarming, inspiring and wonderful indeed. Thank you for alerting us to wonderful sales and to the ever growing participants in this industry and for growing our skills in this creative hobby YOU make possible.

  10. Thank you Jennifer for the video about Hero Arts, I love the sense of community that they foster and you are a big part of the crafting community! I loved hearing that HA was your doorway into cardmaking and I love Shari Carol’s influence as well!

  11. I believe that Hero Arts blazed the trail for all that followed in this amazing crafting industry. They set the standard for excellence and paved the way for those who followed. That it is a kind and caring industry is from the influence of Aaron, Shari, you and many, many others who willing give time and energy into making it so. Congrats to Hero Arts but to all of you who share with all of us! 🙂

  12. You are such a heartwarming person Jennifer, thanks for all the things you do for this industry.
Hope you feel better and enjoy the days with your family.

  13. Thanks for sharing the video from Aaron and Hero Arts! Thanks to for your video and all that you share with us. You did very well with your video especially considering you are not comfortable in front of the camera. Looking great today!

  14. Thank you for sharing yourself every time you reach out with a video. Always look forward to what you have to say and the way you share your ‘craft.’ Wished my workplace was this uplifting. Hugs to all of you!

  15. Thanks for sharing this with us. I was so excited to Sharon Klima, owner of Buffalo Stamps and Stuff in the video. This is my local stamping store and is wonderful. Great video.
Thanks also for sharing yourself and your talents with us in so many ways.

  16. Thank you for sharing both these videos. One of the things I admire about the stamping industry is the fact that a great many of what I call the “big-wig” stamp companies are all friends and help and support each other rather than being competitive against each other. The world needs more people like stampers… We are kind, loving and most importantly supportive. Thank you Jennifer. 💗

  17. Thank you for sharing these videos. Nice to see creative minds coming together and creating a community.

  18. Wow! Just watched the two short videos and I it makes me smile. I’m a teacher (37 years in!) and my very first stamps were Hero Arts stamps. I bought them for stamping my students’ papers with a fun images!. I didn’t start stamping cards for about 10 more years, but I sure used stamps in my classroom. I feel like I’ve been part of Hero arts for a long time! Thank you so much for sharing this video!

  19. Jennifer, thank you for sharing the videos. One of my favorite things about being a teacher is the community. I love being a part of something where together we are better. I have a new respect for the Hero Arts company and the stamping community they help to create! Thank you for sharing with all of us the wonderful connections that so many of our favorite companies have with one another.

  20. First of all, you are a beautiful person, both inside and out. Seeing your pretty face is always enjoyable.
Hero Arts was the first stamps I purchased from Haps (when it was open). I love these stamps, and I know I should still have some of my original purchases. I LOVE shopping from small business – I will shop small when ever possible. This truly is an industry filled with people who give of themselves – from those of us who make a few cards to the wonderful people who share their talents with us. Thank you for being a part of this industry. You have touched so many people.

  21. I love that Hero Arts stamping village video. I was a bit teary too. It wonderful to hear how supportive the industry pioneers are. So many industries are so cut throat. It is great to see how the stamping industry is so inclusive and welcoming. It makes me think about the first stamps I ever bought which were from Hero Arts. Thank you for the video.

  22. Loved the videos. They make for an uplifting contrast to all the evil that Ellison/Sizzix has been spreading lately. I wish Hero Arts another glorious 45 years (at least) of success and of mentoring new stamp companies. We’re all richer is so many ways for their efforts.

Conversely, I hope that Sizzix loses all it’s legal battles and that their business goes straight down the roger hole. It’s what Ellison deserves for trying to poison the collaborative nature of the industry with vindictive lawsuits.

  23. Thanks for sharing this Jennifer. A great video from HA’s and I have to admit, I HAD to go back and watch your first video. I was done very well.

  24. Thank you for sharing this wonderful example of Love in business. This is how it is supposed to be!

  25. Thank you, Jennifer, for the list of companies I never knew existed. I have saved a lot of money buying from your list.
