Stamping for Autism Awareness Blog Hop

Hello! I wanted to let you know about a really important blog hop that is happening today. It is worth checking out!

My friend, Veronica, is hosting a blog hop to bring awareness to autism. I have many friends who have children with autism. They are all remarkable kiddos! I feel autism is often very misunderstood, so today’s efforts are important.

I was unable to participate in today’s hop due to my travels, but I am sponsoring it with a big prize.

To learn more, head HERE.

If you are looking to help out, check out The Art of Autism (wow!) and the Autism Society.

Enjoy the hop!

  3. Thank you for supporting such an important cause, Jennifer. I encounter the amazing richness of the minds of children on the spectrum daily, both with my own son at home, and with the students with whom I am privileged to work as an ECE. 8. Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to promote this hop. I love this initiative! After homeschooling my 5 children for 27 yrs, I took a job as an EA/TA to a 7yr old boy who was on the autism spectrum. He also had FASD. I was with him for 3 years and LOVED it all! Thank you for bringing forward more awareness of the awesomeness of these children.

  9. Thank you for sponsoring and also promoting this event. I wouldn’t have heard of it if I didn’t see your blog post, as I don’t subscribe to a lot of blogs. This is a cause close to my heart, as I have an 11 year old who is on the spectrum. Thank you for your generosity! Jan

  10. That is indeed such a worthy cause and you are correct if people only took the time to read up on autism and try to learn and respect people who have autism life would be easier

  11. Families with autistic members are both challenged and blessed. If you know a family who does, you know what I mean. Thanks for increasing awareness of autism!

  12. These days Jennifer, it seems as though a lot of us have a personal connection to this. Thanks for helping spread awareness of this.

  13. Wow I am just thrilled about this hop!!!! It’s heart warming to see all these amazing people come together to help raise awareness for autism!! Jennifer I can not thank you enough for being involved with this. As I mentioned before I have two kids. Two boys. Ages 5 and 3. They both have autism. Every day is a challenge but they are SO amazing! We have busy schedules with therapy and school everyday!! That’s why I’m always on such a tight budget because therapy takes all our money. Our insurance doesn’t like to cover very much. I’m so excited to see all the cards for this hop!! ❤️

  14. Such an important and wonderful cause for us all to support Jennifer. I have worked with and lived near children with autism for over 25 years and like you said, they’re so often misunderstood. Because of the children with autism that my children grew up with, our youngest daughter became an Art Therapist who works with children and adults with special needs. Thank you for supporting not only this, but so many other worthwhile causes. I hope your vacation renewed your spirit in this season of hope. ~HUGS~

  15. I have an Austin grandson who turns 18 and graduates from high school this year. I’m so proud of him. He worked part time at a local pizza parlor as a school program. He did so well they offered him a full time position once he graduates. The sent his mother the most amazing letter along with a job application. He’s so excited and proud. He’s the most amazing young man and I’m so thankful to have him in my life. Thanks for supporting such an amazing cause.

  16. Jennifer, Thank You Very Much for Supporting Autism Awareness. In the Asian Culture we are taught NOT to “expose” our “defects” by keeping it to ourselves and NOT reach out for help. I got reprimanded when I mentioned a family member should get tested for Autism for I saw the “signs” since birth. Awareness IS the first step in helping others and one’s self get the help needed to live a full and productive life. We All Need a Safe “environment” to battle our “enemies” in a Positive and Healthy way. Safe travels!
