Update (Caring Hearts Card Drive)

Hi! Just wanted to pop in and share a few updates.

The Caring Hearts Card Drive has started! I will share a video about it soon, but in the meantime you can find all the details HERE on Vera’s blog. We would LOVE to get lots of cards this year… and have lots of prizes. What a great way to use your crafty skills to make someone smile!

I started making my cards for the card drive and shot a Quick Tip Video that I shared on social media. You can see it HERE on my Facebook page. Be sure to check it out!

Also, my friends at Altenew are having a sale! Get 20% off on ALL large Altenew ink pads with thecode “COLORFUL” through 10/27/16. These inks are great – learn more about them in this video. Shop HERE. (The flower image is from THIS set.)

I will be back soon with a few videos. Happy stamping!

  1. Your kindness and generosity always makes me smile, Jennifer! I’m looking forward to joining in this wonderful card drive again…Thanks for all you do to help!

  2. Hi Jennifer ~ I loved participating in this card-making event last year and have already started my cards for this year’s drive. Thanks again for helping to organize this event that touches the lives of those of us who do the creating and the people who receive them. ~HUGS~

  3. I love the corbel ornament die and the colors you put with it. It is absolutely beautiful. thank you for all your beautiful card ideas.

  4. THANK YOU!!!!! I have been waiting for this information. I feel just a little less guilty for making more cards than the number of people I actually know. I keep thinking I am finished, but then someone demonstrates a technique I want to try or I find a stamp I haven’t used yet, or (this week’s excuse) I find an amazing new product to try! I haven’t had much luck selling cards, so donating them makes my heart VERY happy. If you know of needs for other types of cards, I have a backlog of those also. And I even have some without sentiments. Thanks again. I hope you are enjoying your new home and are not still stressed by all that a move entails. (I still look for things that used to be stored in a credenza I gave away 10 years ago!)

  5. Question. Do these cards need to be Christmas/seasonal cards or can they be “thinking of you”/”how are you today” cards? I made many, many cards for overseas soldiers to send back home and there are many, many cards remaining. I’d like to share them.

  6. Will there be an update on this card drive? I don’t know if my cards arrived in time for it. It would be good to know the final count.

  7. I would love to do this. I live in a small town and I have been looking for a place to donate. Thanks for a reminder, Hope you are having a great time time with your family. Sadly I lost my sister to Covid 19 last November 30th and am finding it hard for me to be back to celebrating so soon.
