Hello. Today’s video shares a technique that I really enjoy – outline watercolor technique.
I’ll admit that I struggle with watercolor techniques. However, I found that with this watercolor tracing technique, I get great results and it’s so easy to do. Can’t beat that.
I stamped one of the floral images from a new Jane’s Doodles stamp set using light grey ink on watercolor cardstock. I next traced the stamp outline with the new Zig Clean Clean Color Real Brush Pens and added water with a Zig water brush to pull the color in. This creates a watercolor look. You can do this technique with other watercolor markers, but these are delicious. (And I will have a video with more on them soon.)
Perfect for my mommy for Mother’s Day!
Oh – and if you want to see another technique similar to this one, check out THIS video.
This post is part of a Jane’s Doodles Blog Hop celebrating a release of two new stamp sets – Mom and Spring Blessings. Jane’s Doodles is based in Croatia – how awesome is that? And their stamps are high quality so they stamp wonderfully. They are having 30% off right now – you can find their store HERE.
Jane’s Doodle is giving away their two new stamp sets to a lucky winner on this blog hop. For you chance, leave a comment here and on all the hop blogs before 5/10/15.(The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on the Jane’s Doodles site after the giveaway closes.)
