Video: Copic Dot Coloring + Giveaway
Welcome. Today’s video features some adorable new stamps and a fun coloring technique – dot coloring. (I used Copics but you could use other markers, too.)

Oh my my my! This new The Whole Herd set from My Favorite Things is simply adorable. So I decided to keep the focus on the images and keep my card simple. But instead of using normal coloring, I decided to color with dots instead. This works really well with Copics, but also works with other markers. Such a unique look. For the background, I used the new cross-stitch dies from My Favorite Things, including the circle, square and rectangles. I added foam under a few of the layers for some dimension.
I mean – come on! Aren’t these animals the cutest?!
This dot coloring technique isn’t anything new, but it is a fun way to get a different look. Coloring is therapeutic to me, so I try to do it often.
For the horse, I added hay in his mouth with a black pen. I can’t wait to add party hats onto some of these critters…
In the video I shared a peek of using the dot coloring technique on die cuts. I will share this video next week. Those flamingos are fabulous…
By the way, in the video I briefly shared some of the other new products from My Favorite Things. You can find links to those at the end of the thumbnails below or HERE. Good stuff!
