Foil Stamping and New Inks + Giveaway!

Hello!

Just wanted to pop in to let you know about a few fun things that are happening. And do a BIG giveaway!

FOIL STAMPING VIDEO

I am a guest today over on the Ellen Hutson blog HERE… showing more examples of adding foil to stamped images. (You can see my original video HERE.) I just adore these flower and “hello” sentiment stamps from Julie Ebersole. They look great with the DecoFoil!

To see the video, head on over to Ellen Hutson.

GIVEWAY

Ellen said that I could give away some of the products I used in the video! This is an awesome prize pack – a laminator, stamp set, adhesive and 3 packs of foil! For your chance, leave a comment here by 11:59pmEST on 5/19/15  telling me a bit of good news in your life. (The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on my “Winners page” after the giveaway closes. International folks are eligible, too!)

Check out this giveaway!

Good luck!

NEW ALTENEW INKS

My friends over at Altenew are releasing a new line of inks and are celebrating with a blog hop. The hop starts HERE at 9:00amEST today (5/15/15)… so be sure to check it out.

I am really excited to play with their new ink line… which are formulated to be perfect for stamp layering techniques. I wanted to do a video for you today showing how to use them… but I am honestly having trouble keeping up with it all at the moment! (Being a momma comes first here.) But I promise to show them to you in the future and get you some ink swatch downloads. 🙂 In the meantime, you can see the new inks HERE.

See you soon. Have a fabulous weekend. Audrey has prom this weekend and we are celebrating Lila’s 3rd birthday – can’t wait!

My grandson is one year old today, I bought my dream house, and the “death condo” sold in 2 hours at full asking price. I can’t wait to get my new craft room set up so I can finally get organized and do everything that I’ve been wanting to do rather than hunt through Rubbermaids. My cancer is under control with radiation. Life is good and it’s been a very long time.

Absolutely, our jobs as Mama are first–even though my kids are now adults, I’m always there for them. My good news is sort of “weird” and a blessing. My oldest bro, who lives in our “home” state, has been having lots of serious issues–memory problems, falls, “mistakes” in his job and driving. He’s in the medical profession, as am I, so those who know more, often fear more. We were fearing the worst, perhaps early onset Alzheimer’s, brain tumor–all the horrible stuff. He just learned that he has a brain aneurysm, which is starting to heal but it’s blocking the “drain” for cerebral spinal fluid. It appears that a very simple shunt placement should take the pressure off, his symptoms should resolve and it should shrink the size of the aneurysm as well. The shunt surgery is minor–and that we now have an answer and a fix is such a blessing and answer to prayers. PTL!

I got new mulch for my garden. Might not sound like a big deal, but I couldn’t of gotten it by myself…a friend brought it to me. Weighs more than I could carry or haul either one.

  50. Haley S. says:

I get so excited when I see a new video/post for your blog. You inspire me to be creative everyday! My good news is I have nephew #2 on the way and I am in the final stages of creating my Etsy store front. It has been a dream of mine to own a creative business and its starting to take shape!

    Happy Friday Everybody!!
