Video: Mixed Embossing Powder + SSS Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hello! Today’s video shows a fun way to mix embossing powders… and is part of the Simon Says Stamp Late Spring Release Blog Hop. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention giveaways!
[Supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this post.]
I love a good die. So I was thrilled to get the new Simon Says Stamp Butterfly Drift die. So many things you can do with it! I covered all the little butterflies with Versamark Ink and added a bit of Ranger Magenta and Liquid Platinum embossing powder. After heating the powder a little extra than normal, the powders start to blend together and give a unique look. Just another way to use any embossing powders! I saved my extra mixed powder in a little clear jar.
I used new Simon Says Stamp Mother’s Day stamp sentiments on both the inside and outside of the card with the Liquid Platinum embossing powder. That sentiment on the outside? Perfect for my momma.
I also cut the butterfly die from the front of a notecard to create a window and actually adhered the butterflies to the inside of the card…
I will be back soon with another way to use this die… for a completely different card.
You can find all the new Simon Says Stamp products HERE. Lots of great dies and stamps… be sure to check them out.
