Catching up…

Hey.

I am back home from my fab trip to Houston.  My Shari and I had such fun.  Great classes, lots of laugh, hard work and great memories.  To all of you there, it was great to see you.  (A few people asked where I was teaching.  It was a rep/wholesale show.  There will be one in Boston in the spring – click HERE for info.)

Now I am home and it is time to focus on the 2010 Hero Arts catalog.  We spend all of the fall creating projects for it.  And the stamps that we have gotten so far – amazing.  Amazing.

But… I can't share any of those cards just yet. :)  So here are some I can share.  :)  These use some rockin' new cling stamps.  That background?  LOVE it.

Supplies: Hero Arts stamps (definition background and flower), Hero Arts notecard and pearls, Copic Markers

Here is one from World Cardmaking Day over on the Hero Arts blog.  (I totally missed out on that day here.  Was too busy teaching.  But I couldn't think of a better way to spend it.)

And another.  It is fun to use pieces of the background image as the main pieces on the card.

And have you seen the Hero Blog this week?  Tami Hartley is having her first week.  AMAZING stuff.  That girl is so talented, so funny, so real, so kind, so thoughtful… and I am SO glad to call her a friend.  She asked me to play along today.  Here is my creation.  It uses Claudine Hellmuth Sticky Back Canvas.  I stamped a snowman stamp many times on the back of the canvas and cut out all the pieces.  I inked them and reassembled them into this…

Also wanted to link ya to some goodies:

  • Kristina shared a great little image today HERE.  For those believers out there, check it out.
  • Love Kiara Lee's storage for the new Cling stamps from Hero HERE.
  • Nichol started Stamp Camp over at 2peas this week.  GREAT cards and video HERE.
  • Kelly Purkey – the cutest thing in the whole wide world – just started a type class, too… HERE.

I will be back with a card drive update and more.  Night!

  1. OMG!! That snowman is too friggin cute Jennifer. Now I have to get that stamp. I wasn’t going to buy it, but you’ve totally inspired me now. I have some great patterned fabric that would look super cute with him. I’m still waiting for Archivers to get the new clings in.

I’ve finally blogged my cards for Kate too! It’ll be up in the morning.
    Hugs.

  2. I always like your work but this snowman is even more lovely. I won some sticky back canvas through the HA blog earlier this year and only last week made a card with it. It’s on my blog if you care to see it.

  3. Those cards are so beautiful, Jennifer!
LOVE that snowman! What a cool idea!
Thanks so much for mentioning me and my blog, girlie! You are too sweet! 😉
I hope Colin is feeling better! Been praying for him! BIG hugs! Have a wonderful day!

  4. The cards are great! I love how all of them are so clean! Both of the snowman cards on the Hero Arts blog were great!

  5. LOVE these cards, Jennifer. You keep selling me on stamps I don’t think I need. My hubby keeps saying he wishes HA would hire me so he can keep more money in his wallet. 😉 So glad HA is making large cling background stamps… I’m running out of room for the Design Blocks. 🙂

Bless you for designing wonderful ideas for Hero Arts catalogs. You and the other designers make it so easy for HA to sell their lovely stamps.

Kelly and Nichol’s classes look like lots of fun. They always have goodness to share.

  7. I keep coming back to look at this blog post – inspiration just FLOWS!! Like other commenters here, I also ended up with some stamps in my shopping cart which I didn’t think I “needed” either 🙂 Thanks for the constant inspiration I can’t tell you how much it is appreciated! Best wishes to you!
