Sticker Love

Hello!

I am at the airport about to board a plane after being in Anaheim for the CHA craft show. I decided to go and have fun and not work. I had such fun seeing so many people I love in this industry. Believe it or not, I didn’t take photos of new products… only of people. (You can see some of photos on my Instagram page HERE.) But there are many great crafters out there doing product round-ups – be sure to check them out.

I have lots of projects to share with you this week. But in the meantime, I wanted to share another fun way you can help some folks who could use some smiles.

My adorable friend Kristina is doing a sticker drive to support children with diabetes. Kristina’s daughter has insulin-dependent diabetes and wants to collect stickers to share with other kids at the clinic she goes to. I think this is wonderful. After all – what kid doesn’t love stickers!? (Oh wait – I love them, too. LOL!) This is easy – just send in any stickers you have or buy a few and you will help bring smiles to lots of kids. For more info, head HERE.

OK – I will be back soon with some card shares!

  3. Safe travels. Have loved seeing your photos on Instagram. Made me want to be there to be able to meet you! Thanks for letting us know about the sticker drive!!

  4. Awww, loved your photographs, but especially that you got to go and just “hang out” with all your friends 🙂

  5. Hope your home by now Jennifer. Your such a wonderful person for helping out where you can, and thanks for the encouragement for us to do the same. Funny you bring up stickers as I just bought some this last weekend at a store closing event and learned, they can travel in the bags like eggs. However I am sure the store will go to higher off discounts and I can send some, well I some how I know I will. My grandmother passed from the disease so, I love supporting causes to help anyone out. Can’t wait to see the new inspirations this week and for class to begin.

  6. Thanks for the info on the childhood diabetes sticker thing. I have so many stickers that my grandkids will NEVER use them all, and since your friend is here in Nashville (where I live), and I love Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital,so I am going to donate a bunch from my old scrapbook teaching days. Thanks for the opportunity to help!

  7. Jennifer…
I have been cleaning out my scrapbook room and have lots of stickers…do they have to be NEW or does it matter if they are partial packs.

    thanks

  11. Hi Jennifer. It was an awesome pleasure to meet you at CHA… I was the one hanging out with Mama Elephant having the best time meeting people who inspire me daily. I used to be an art teacher and kindergarten teacher and have a lot of stickers (rolls of them) that I am no longer using. I will be happy to look at your friend’s website and send her my stickers. Until then, take care and always looking forward to your endless creativity.

  12. OMG! Love your card and that huge greeting! Makes a bold statement and a quick nice card! Thanks for the inspiration and for the opportunity to win!
