Vellum Christmas Photo Card + Giveaway!

Today I have a Christmas photo card using Paper Smooches and Tim Holtz products.

Yep. You heard that right. Paper Smooches and Tim Holtz. Together on one card. 🙂

I’ll be honest – I love holiday photo cards. They are my favorite. And this is a design I am considering for my family card this year – with a photo behind an embossed vellum panel.

I used the Tim Holtz Starry Night embossing folder for the fun texture on the vellum. (This folder works for everything from birthday to Christmas. Awesome.)

I then added a new die cut greeting from Paper Smooches. Isn’t that handwriting fantastic?!

So if you lift the vellum (that is attached with a quick line of sewing from my machine), you can see the family photo. (Yes, I am shorter than Kay and Audrey.)

And if you lift the matted photo, you see the greeting behind. I can add a personal message there, too.

Here is a closer look at the Paper Smooches die set I used. I love detailed die cut greetings…

(By the way, there are some other great new products from Paper Smooches that just came out. You can find them HERE.)

What do you think? Think this would be a good family card for this year?
