Video: Overlapped Stamping + CASE Study Challenge
This month I am the guest designer over at the CASE Study Challenge Blog. This is a *really* good site that has lots of creative ideas. They take a few older cards from a guest designer and use them as inspiration for new ideas. Love this.
Today’s inspiration is from THIS card I created awhile back…
I created a video and two cards for this challenge:
I used the same colors and graphic look as the Case Study…
For this first one, I stamped the chevron border stamp in one color (such as yellow), then stamped again in another color (such as pink)… overlapping it partially. This gives the look of three colors (with the blended orange), thanks to the overlapping. Such a fun technique – especially with Shadow Inks. (Supplies are listed below.)
For the next one, I overlapped my stamping three times – stamping twice with one color and once with another. Gives a fun blended look. This is a great way to get more out of your graphic border stamps.
This card actually has a clear card base. I hadn’t done one in awhile but love them so.
I hope you can stop by the CASE Study Challenge Blog. Such nice, talented folks. I like that.
Thanks for stopping by. (Oh and I will be back to announce winners early next week. I am on vacation. Thanks!)
