Video + Simon Says Stamp Dies Blog Hop + Giveaway!
Hello! Welcome to a blog hop celebrating the new Simon Says Stamp dies.
The SSS dies are made by Memory Box – one of my favorite brands of dies. They are super quality, inexpensive and can be used with any machine. (Promise! See more on how below.) Here is a video and card I made for today’s festivities…
I also used the die to emboss on the background. This is super easy with a Spellbinders Tan Embossing Mat…
I used two stamp sets on this card…
On the outside I used the exclusive set in the SSS July Card Kit and on the inside I used the Studio Calico HeyDay Sentiments stamp set…
Also, I shared a card and video HERE the other day using another new SSS die. If you are interested in learning more techniques and tips these types of dies (and others), be sure to check out the A Cut Above die cutting class HERE.
Here is a look at all the exclusive SSS dies (or go HERE)…
Wondering about how to use these dies? Here are the sandwich recipes for wafer thin dies. You may need to use a shim here and there, but these are the basics. (Listed from the bottom of the sandwich to the top.)
- Cuttlebug: [bottom] A Plate, B Cutting Plate, Wafer Thin Die + Paper, C Plate [top]
- Big Shot: [bottom] Multi Purpose Platform Tab 2 (or Solo Platform + Solo Shim + Solo Wafer Thin Die Adaptor), Clear Plate, Wafer Thin Die + Paper, Clear Plate [top]
- Vagabond: [bottom] Solo Platform + Solo Shim, Solo (Wafer) Thin Die Adaptor, Clear Plate, Wafer Thin Die + Paper, Clear Plate [top]
Easy peasy!
NOW… Be sure to next head to my dear friend Jana’s blog HERE. (If you want to start the hop from the beginning, head to the Simon Says Stamp Blog.)
And, how about a giveaway!?
